Karaka Lagna (Nadi Astrologers and Nadi leaves)

Dear Karu,

As far as i know there are 2 ways to reckon or use the karaka lagna.

1. From the bhava

Treat the bhava as lagna and see if the Lord and Karaka of the same is well placed therefrom.

Similarly use Argala to reckon the results.

2. From the Karaka

Treat the Karaka as Lagna and reckon Argala on it. This will show those forces

which intervene on the Karaka's affairs.

i.e. for wealth treat Dhanakäraka - Jupiter, as Lagna, and see the (virodha-)

argala's it recieves. This will show how the native surrounds themself with

wealth.

Dear Sarajit,

I feel I have missed Karaka lagna and readings. I can understand it as Venus

karaka for marriage and take the sign occupied by Venus as first house etc. But

do you have any references or written materials ?

If you have, please send for my studies.

Lagna is used in Nadi grantha's withour doubt. Karaka Lagna is also very

important and I have shown its use many times taking Venus for marriage and

studying the 7th lord etc..

Not this time in west coast as they insisted on knowing about Relationships

Workshop. Maybe some principles in the workshops..

for chartinterpretations. I have seen Shri Inderjit Sahney using these

principalson his list(Hanskpvedic).In the Nadi Granthas,the lagna is not

considered as of primaryimportance.Lal Kitab(the big taboo on this list)also

uses same principal.Karka Planet of the particular aspect one wants to study is

consideredalong with the adjacent houses and the 7th house to the

concernedplanet.The same is again used in Lal Kitab.Param Gurudev Shri Sanjay

Rath had also promised to teach Nadi Astrologyon West Coast conefrence to be

held in California in Aug thisyear(2003)in one of his e-mails last year.But I

haven't seen anythingabout the Nadi Astrology in the program for this
