Guest guest
Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa Om Namo Narayanaya Dear Lalitha May I offer a small correction to what you have said. The temple you refer to is not Jagannatha temple. It is traditionally known as "Veetrirunda Perumal" - to denote the seated posture of Sri Mahavishnu. The temple has a history that is worth reading about. True the temple is known for its 'saanidhyam'. As far as I know, the only Sri Jagannatha temple is on the shores of the Bay of Bengal near Uthandi. Best wishes R. It should be around 4 Kms from Poonamalee. Its an ancient temple and one should have to see. And very near to that is a famous Anjaneyar Temple(also called Visa Anjaneyar). In the premises of that you also have Venkatachalapathi(seating posture with Ashtalakshmi) and LakshmiNarasimhar.
