Dear Lalitha

 

May I offer a small correction to what you have said. The temple you

refer to is not Jagannatha temple. It is traditionally known

as "Veetrirunda Perumal" - to denote the seated posture of Sri

Mahavishnu. The temple has a history that is worth reading about.

 

True the temple is known for its 'saanidhyam'.

 

As far as I know, the only Sri Jagannatha temple is on the shores of

the Bay of Bengal near Uthandi.

Its an ancient temple and one should have to see. And very near to

that is a famous Anjaneyar Temple(also called Visa Anjaneyar). In the
