Guest guest
Aum Namah Shivaya Dear Mr.Doshi, Before addressing your question, I will first quote from a previous article of mine on Elizabeth Taylor, that had been published twice in the past two years. The article is titled 'Ingénue to Femme fatale and Laughing stock to Living legend' ---An astro-biographical sketch of Elizabeth Taylor'. quote starts================== The most striking feature of her horoscope is the very powerful Gajakesari Yoga in her chart. This yoga is formed when Jupiter occupies a Kendra (1,4,7,10) position in relation to the Moon. This yoga is supposed to make a person illustrious, overpowering, virtuous, wealthy, intelligent, of royal bearing and enjoys lasting fame. This yoga is not that uncommon and is also seen in the charts of ordinary people. It is only when additional benefic factors are present that this yoga is functional. It should be remembered that only a strong Jupiter or Moon can confer such a royal yoga. In Elizabeth's case Jupiter is exalted making it more powerful. But what makes it very special? The Gajakesari Yoga gets repeated in six of her divisional charts including the D-9, D-3, D-4 and D-7! It is this that makes her yoga unique giving that rare quality. Jupiter and Moon are on the same degree, in a quadrant from each other ensuring that the yoga repeats in some very important divisional charts. I have seen such a close yoga in the chart of another legendary actor of South India, who later became the Chief minister of the state of Andhra Pradesh – the late N.T.Rama Rao, who is even worshipped by some people for the mythological roles that he convincingly acted, as Krishna, Rama and other incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Elizabeth was extremely lucky that she was born with the dasha balance of such an extremely powerful Jupiter. She was destined to make history from a young age! Since Jupiter is in the 10th from the Moon, it is good for her career. Sometimes people with such a combination even give up or neglect their marriage and children, pursuing the calling of their karma (10th house). In the charts of spiritual persons, it leads to ascetism (Manasagari), while in the charts of more materialistic persons, it leads to a career that overshadows their married lives. Moreover Jupiter being the significator for wealth, ensures the inflow of wealth through one's own effort. In Elizabeth's case, that it would affect her married life while giving her success in her career and finances, becomes clear from the debilitated Jupiter in the D-9 (navamsa is very important in judging married life) where he is both the first and fourth lord in the second house. quote ends========================= Though I haven't seen the chart that you have provided the details of, generally speaking, for the conditions that you have stated the following comes to mind (provided the Gajakesari Yoga is a strong one and not under malefic influences). Its effect will be seen in the person's career as well as creative and intellectual work. The person has the potential to be a good counsellor and advisor (in whichever field is indicated by the chart). He can be a good writer with a considerable name in the appropriate dasas. He has the potential to do well in non-fiction, especially philosophy, theology, law, dharma sastras etc. He will do well in fine arts, journalism, writing, philosophy etc. But he should learn to handle his short temper, as this may be a major drawback of his. While he may do well in his creative pursuits, career and hobbies, he might have difficulties through children and related areas. A religious or philosophical mind, combined with shrewdness, wisdom and intelligence leads to many good decisions and judgments, provided other astrological factors contribute. Hope this is useful. Guest guest
Observation: Did not see earlier piece, but as with Elizabeth Taylor, and others with a strong Gaja Kesri Yoga, it is suggestive to always consider/look for the person to present things or themselves (or are) in an appealing manner. My first teacher (in the mid 90's) said that of an advertising agency in New York City that he did charts for, all the ~20 individuals had a Gajkersari yoga!
