Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Rajagopalan.n, I am not a Guru but I am replying to your question and expect to be corrected if I am wrong. To find your Atama Karak please look at the degrees of all the planets. The planet with the highest degrees will be the Atma Karak. The degrees of Rahu are subtracted from 30 degrees as its motion is retrogade. So if Rahu is at 28 degrees then subtract it from 30 and you get 2 degrees for Rahu. Please consider the minutes too while you subtract. If two planets are on the same degree then look at the minutes. The higher will be the Atma Karak.Hope this helps. Guest guest
Just to make your ans more rounded, Kanupriya, you should've left in "... with the highest degrees within a rasi". If one is really new to astro, your statement might just make him count from 0 to 360 and arrive at the planet closest to 360. Not very likely but not wholly unlikely either, I hope you agree ) Warm regards, Ramapriya hubli (AT) vsnl (DOT) com - kanu priya vedic astrology Monday, June 02, 2003 4:47 PM Re: [vedic astrology] help me in a.k Om Gurave Namah Dear Rajagopalan.n, I am not a Guru but I am replying to your question and expect to be corrected if I am wrong. Guest guest
Rampriyaji, And may be good to clarify that the degrees of nodes have to be deducted from 30 to arrive at their actual figure! I had made this mistake and Chandrashekharji had helped me. Regards Ramesh --- kanu priya <barish44 wrote: Om Gurave Namah Dear Ramapriya, Offcourse I agree. Thanks for adding that. Guest guest
Correct, Ramesh, and if I may just hone your statement a wee, I'd remove the plurality from the nodes, 'cause only Ra can be AK - but this is just pettifoggery Warm regards, Ramapriya - "Ramesh F.
