Jupiter in simha(leo) - Mr Dhira Krsna

Dear Learned Dhira Krsna Das,

Sorry for this delayed response. I must smile here, since your post

said about my marriage chart, well I am not married yet and the

reason I had asked re Jup in Leo for marriage was since 3 of my

friends plan to get married during this period and no amount of my

convincing can alter their plans since either their partners or one

friends parents don't beleive in astrology.

I being the worrier, am really concerned for them and hence seek a

remedy for marriage during Jup in Leo.

Also, I must thank you for your kind email, can I refer some people

to you who are not getting children or might want to have a good

child ( re Garbhadana).

I take this opportunity to post it on the list SJC Guru Partha's

letter on some queries posted. I have his permission for this, as

other learners like me can learn from this letter.

He has been kind in answering my odd queries.

Some thoughts here:-

1. If a couple does court marriage and then vedic marriage, which is

considered as real marriage muhurat.

reason is Makha nakshatra is one of the gandamool nakshatra, the

other two being, moola and ashwini. Of all the three, Makha and moola

are deemed to be worst. Though gandanta is only till 5 degrees of

each sign(before or after, like pisces-aries). It is generally

considered that these nakshatras are inauspicious. Any standard

panchang in Hindi or other languages talks about this. Infact i

started learning astrology by referring to panchangs,. I used to

collect panchang of every year from my 16th year(when i started

astrology). Now i am 26, and i feel my basics are good, due to

the "accidental" learning of panchangs, which are invaluable tools

for learning astrology.

3. What is one has already married in this period, should one remarry.

ANs) In Cova it is mentioned by Pt.Rath, that a marriage that is not

working or having little problems can be rectified by a second

marriage to the same person. Just like Ramakrishna paramahansa

married Sharada Ma.

4. Astrology takes the time of marriage as court marriage or only

marriage through rituals.

Ans) The time of court marriage is considered to be the time of

marriage, because the intention here is to get married and live

together, it is just a unconventional(not traditional) marriage. What

about other relegions, who marry in church, and other places without

so many rituals that we have.

5.If one marries in Jup in Leo transit then is there any remedy for

it.

Ans) As Dr.Satya says, and even backed by my intuition, it is the

makha nakshatra that is evil, and not others. A simple practical

remedy which i can think is to have court marriage once jupiter moves

to poorvaphalguni. Or if court marriage is already performed, then

have a ritual marriage again, during the auspicious month of Magha.

If they do not believe in astrology, then don't worry for them. Bhagavan

Sri Krsna will take care of them. An astrologer only gives advice when

he/she is asked for.

Both will be considered as marriage muhurta, though I personally believe

the first one done will be of most implication. Actually everything we do,

even going to live together, moving into a new house, first contact,

begetting child, etc... all these are done in particular muhurta, and will

have their benefic/malefic results in due course of time. Just now I got

new book on Muhurta: " Muhurta, marriages and children" by L.C. Sharma,

Sagar publications. It's a very good book for studying muhurta.

I don't think there will be no Muhurtas while jupiter

in Leo. It is almost a year. Those who belives GOD and

astrology should not wait for marriage / other

celebration. This is because it is against the nature

as nature rule is to keep going. However jupiter in

Leo is best time for spiritual development.

It will be the small period (couple of months while

jupiter in leo along with planetory/ Nakshatra

combination) during which one should not go for any

Muhurtas and should spent time for spiritual

development. One has to really find out the reason and

conclude.

Om Tat Sat!

Dear Ramapriya,

One of friends is planning to get married next year.

In his chart,Leo is ascendant (LAGNA). Jupiter in Leo

will have SHUBH DRISTHI on 7th house thus best time

for marriage. However some of purohit suggested not to

marry in next year as lack of Muhurtas. He strongly

believes on GOD and astrology. He has to wait 3 years

for proper muhurta if he skip Jupiter in Leo. My only

point is that there will be lot of people who believes

GOD and astrology) and willing to get married. Does

that mean all of them need to wait for the year?

Dear Deepak Naik,

I had given before about marriage Muhurtas and also some best Yogas for marriage

Muhurtas,If you can find any one of such Muhurtas ,you can go ahead with the

marriage and these Muhurtas will remove any bad effects caused due to some

planetary positions in the zodiac.

"Muhurta Madhaveeyam says like this for Vivaha Muhurtam :

Rohini,Swati,Revathi,Mrigashira,Moola,Magha are excellent Nakshatras for

Marriage Muhurta.Also Hasta,Anuradha,Utara phalguni,Uttarashada, and

Uttarabhadra are best Nakshatras.The best Lagnas are Kanya,Tula and

Mithuna.Karka,Meena,Dhanu and Vrishabha are middling.To these Lagnas if there

is a conjunction of benefics ,then they become best Muhurtas.If Guru is in

Lagna ,Simha Lagna is also good"

It clear that one can have good muhurta for marriage when Jupiter in Leo.

Considering that most of the marriages are usually held in the early

to mid-morning, it may be difficult to fix a suitable muhurta after

September 15 when Su moves to Vi!!!

Combine this practical difficulty with the probibition of muhurtas

during Ju's transit of certain nakshatras (till year-end) and I get

the general idea that good muhurtas can be found only after April 15

of next year!!

You are correct. The timing comes around 7 PM in January and then some where in

May it comes around 3 / 4 PM. I don know about suitability of evening time. In

Mumbai there are lots of marriage held in the evening. I seen some Marriage in

night also especially for North Indian Marriages.

As per Shubhangi Naik's mail, I am also considering Kumbh mela Sihasth effect to

avoid some period . I read in one of the article where it mentioned that

marriage can be perform away from North India/ Saurashtra/ Nashik. So South

india is ideal place.
