Our 20th meeting was held on 18.05.03. The same was attended by,

We had discussion on horoscope of a female native who is reportedly troubled by

spirits and actually sees them. We tried to look for the reason. The chart is

attached herewith in jhl4.1 format. We would request learned members to kindly

comment on the same

Chart Details:

4th October 1971 at 1pm in Townsville, Queensland, Australia

146E48, 19S16

TZ: 10.00 (east of GMT)

1. She left her birth place and went to Saudi for job in April'1999 and came

back to Australia in Sept'2000

2. She started seeing one muslim boy in August 1999 and was engaged on the 21st

October 1999 but the marriage did not ultimately took place.

3. Miscarried a child in April 2000 and then gave birth to a daughter in April

2001 in Australia

4. While in Saudi she had a lot of lucid dreaming with snakes.

5. Arround July'1999, while in Saudi..she started seeing spirits. She tells that

one woman there, who threatened her earlier on account of relationship jealousy

- applied black magic on her.

This woman is reported to have very high passion which leads her into various

relations and subsequent troubles. But she is not happy with her own passion

and feels guilty about it. Is it due to her placement of Ke in 7th - who acts

like Mars creating lot of passions and debilated AK Venus - who tries to show

her the correct way? Plz note that Ven is also aspected by Rahu- aflicting Ven

as well as Sun.

AK Ven is debilated and in the star of Mars. She left her birth place in

Ke-Ma-Me dasa. Ke is in her 7th house of foreign journey and Ve is in Virgo.

She came back as her Ke-Jup started. Jup is her DK in badhaka sthana. Actually

the main reason for her coming back was disappointment created due to refusal

of the boy to marry her. Religion (karaka Jup) was the main reason for the

muslim boy's refusal. Her AL is in 12th from UL and this was her 1st serious

relationship with intention to marry. Hence rejection by her would be spouse is

clear from the chart.

In rashi, 9th house has rahu aspect-shows problem for 1st child birth. In her

D7, lagna is Le - odd sign. counting in zodiac direction, 5th from Le (Sg) has

Mars...showing medical problems. her miscarriage occured in Ke-Ra-Ve dasa. Ve

is in Mars star. 3rd from Sg is Aq. Lord Sa is in Cp a female rashi. So her 2nd

child was a daughter.

Dreaming of snakes:

She has 3 malefics in 2 kendras. It should be a sarpa dosha. Can we confer that

the dreaming of snakes were due to the sarpa dosha? This happened in her Ke-Ra

dasa.

Black magic & Preta dosha:

She becomes adept to black magic due to,

1. Ketu and Sat aspecting each other and have connection to 5th house.

2. AL in dual rashi..conjunct with 6L Mer and Ket in 7th behaving like mars (as Ketu is alone)

Now her badhaka lord is Mars..who is also aspecting Sat by rashi dristi and Ket

by graha dristi. This constitutes Preta Badha or the native is so haunted by

spirits. Also combination of Ketu & Mars causes Preta dosha as well as

affliction by spirits.

It may be note here that 7th house is involved in the dosha..and the dosha got

kick started due to problems of 7th house affairs.

Remedy:

Jup aspects Ketu and Rahu+mars all by rashi dristi and Sat by graha dristi. So

it was felt that Jup can give the solution. Jup is in 9th from moon so gem will

not work. Maha Mrityunjaya mantra was suggested for the native to avert the

effect of black magic and haunting by spirits. Mrityunjaya mantra being the

best remedy for such doshas. This mantra must do the needfull also due to the

reason that her ketu dasa is ending and ven dasa would start shortly and venus

is the owner of mrityunjaya mantra. Sun indicates her ista as Shiva. Jup also

indicates Shiva in higher form. So Mrityunjaya mantra will propiciate Jup & Sun

also. Jup is aspecting Ketu. So by propiciating Jup..ketu will get a head and

become ganesha to drive away the spirits.

Is the remedy suggested is correct?

Please guide us with further valuable comments on the same - from gurus and

other learned members.

Dear JK Dasgupta,

Does this not appear to be a case of sever affliction of 5th house ? The 5th

lord is debilitated, though vargottama being in house of debiitation in both

natal and navamsha charts. The Mantra Pada, and Ascendant are severely

afflicted with mandi Gulika Kala and Rahu and Vyayamsha yukta. Venus becoming

Atmakaraka is severely afflicted as trines from it in natal chart are

afflicted. Add to it aspect received by Moon lord of the 7th in 3rd(marital

problems and change of partners) is again afflicted by aspect of Mercury and

Lord of the 6th Sun.I remember that in 2/8 axis mutual aspect of Mercury-Moon

can lead to loosing money. The problems to dharma sthana by her opting for

liasion with somebody of relogion other than her own indicates that the yoga is

coming through here. Saturn Lagnesh in 5th has rendered first child as a

miscarriage. Again Ketu is making sambandha with Moon being posited in its

house Cancer. Sometimes this indicates mentally compromised persons in family.

Is this the case here? Could you confirm this?

I think this is a case of severe hallucination as against actual sighting of

spirits as claimed by the lady. She could have severe persecution mania.This is

in line with Saturn in Mars Navamsha being posited in 5th house

The saving grace for this person loosing her sense of proportion completely is

of course Jupiter aspecting Moon,5th house and 7th house .

If my logic is correct better results might be obtained by strengthening Venus

and remedies in that direction might help.

Of course this how I view this chart, others might have different opinion.
