Guest guest
Dear Rajinder, Here's what Shri B.V.Raman says about Manglik DOsha: " If Mars is in 2nd, 12th, 4th, 7th or 8th house(either from the Ascendant or the Moon or the Venus) in the horoscope of the female, (then it becomes a Manglik Dosha) and the death of the husband will occur. A similar situation of the Mars in the husband's horoscope causes the death of the wife"...So Manglik Dosha in Boy's chart must be neutralized by same Dosha(similar magnitude also) in Girl's chart, for both to survive and live happily. Here are the other exceptions given by him: Mars in the 2nd house is bad provided the 2nd house happens to be any sign other than Gemini and Virgo. Mars in 12th causes dosha in all signs except Taurus and Libra. Mars in 4th house causes affliction in all signs except Aries and Scorpio. Mars in 7th house causes affliction in all signs except Capricorn and Cancer. Mars in 8th house causes affliction in all signs except Sagittarius and Pisces. Mars produces no dosha whatever in Leo and Aquarius. The dosha is countered by the cojunction of Mars and Jupiter or Mars aand the Moon. Now applying above rules to your info: Well all we know is that Boy has Mars in 4th, so he is most probably Manglik(not sure) and we have no such info about the girl. So I cannot reach any conclusion. Waiting for birth data...Rajesh. vedic astrology, "Rajesh Mohan Kumaria" <rajeshkumaria2000> wrote: > > Dear Rajinder, Can you please post the birth data of the boy and the > girl? Guest guest
Dear Rajinder, well as per data provided by you, I am attaching the charts below for other members to give their comments. WHat I found was that the Boy is double Manglik since his Natal mars(in Sagittarius) is in 4th house from Lagna(Virgo) and also in 12th House from Venus(capricorn). Looks like no exception applies to him. Please also note that I am a studnet only and not an expert on Mangal Dosha. Now when you go to Girl's chart, she is manglik due to Venus only since Natal mars in Leo, is in 2nd house from Natal Venus in Cancer. But She is NOT double manglik and hence the Mangal Dosha is not balanced one as per data and hence here health can be affected due to the strong Mars of the boy. Also The Girl's Natal Venus(6th and 11th Lord) being in 8th house and her UL being in 6th from AL, shows hard efforts and strong inclinations in trying to attract the opposite sex. People with venus in 8th house make trendous wffort to get satisfaction in roamance, marriages but have hard luck until the other partner is very supporting...On the other hand the Boy's Venus(2nd and 9th Lord) is placed in 5th house comfortably and is also the Lord of UL, which is 11th house from AL...Now I think people with more expertise inmatch making can give their comments here regarding the strength of this Union etc., I will have to dig up some books(and I have to go now)... >From a general perspective, the boy's natal venus creates more romantic inclinations and so no shortage of partners and the Girls' Venus creates desperate efforts to get the partner (Assuming that its a love marriage situation..Do'nt they say that love is blind and so what can astrology do, when you are so close to engagement. After all your Karma is always under control to some/large extent)... But the Boy id definitely very strong Manglik compared to the Girl and the rest is now your decision, Sir. May be other members can suggest how to control this dosha or balance it on both sides using Mantra etc., with regards and best wishes..rajesh kumaria. -- These calculations were made using the free "Jagannatha Hora Lite" software, which can be downloaded from the website of its author P.V.R. Guest guest
Namaste Dear Rajesh, What are the reasons for these exceptions or the logic behind them, if this is also given by B.V.Raman? For instance in the case of Mars in the 2nd house other than when occupying Mercury ruled houses? Why are Mercury ruled bhavas an exception? Kind regards, Patrice __________ Here are the other exceptions given by him: Mars in the 2nd house is bad provided the 2nd house happens to be any sign other than Gemini and Virgo. Mars in 12th causes dosha in all signs except Taurus and Libra.Mars in 4th house causes affliction in all signs except Aries and Scorpio.Mars in 7th house causes affliction in all signs except Capricorn and Cancer.Mars in 8th house causes affliction in all signs except Sagittarius and Pisces. Guest guest
Dear Patrice, Well here's what I found: Mars in 2nd House in Gemini and Virgo; For Gemini, The lagna is Taurus and the 7th sign is Scorpio. Taking Scorpio as Spouse's Lagna, Mars then owns 1st and 6th Lord of Spouse . Since Ist Lord is beneficial always(and also stronger than 6th Lord) so mars will protect here and not Kill the spouse. Similarly for all cases Mars will be owning a Kendra and/or a Trikona or life giving houses to spouse. Just follow this same principle and go around various house placements. For Mars to be in Virgo in 2nd house, The lagna is Leo and the lagna for Spouse is Aquarius. Mars now owns 3rd and 10th houses of spouse. 10th Lord is stronger than 3rd lord and hence protect spouse. Hence no dosha…. Mars is 5th and10th Lord of spouse when its in taurus in 12th house and its 7th and 12th Lord of spouse, when its in Libra in 12th house. Mars is 4th and 11th Lord of spouse, when its in Capricorn in 7th house and its 5th and 10th Lord of spouse, when its in Cancer in 7th house. Mars is 5th and 10th Lord of spouse, when its in Aries in 4th house and its 3rd and 10th Lord of spouse, when its in Scorpio in 4th house. Mars is 3rd and 10th Lord of spouse, when its in Pisces in 8th house and its 1st and 6th Lord of spouse, when its in Sagittarius in 8th house. Hence no dosha…. When its in Leo in 2nd House, its 4th and 11th Lord of spouse , but when its in Aquarius in 12th house, it's the 3rd and 8th Lord of spouse. 8th is the house of longtivity and hence mars supports spouse, although its neither a Kendra nor a trikona house. Hope its correct, since I myself learnt it on this list long time back...Regards. Guest guest
Dear Rajesh and Chandrashekhar, Thank you for both your responses. Chandrashekhar for your hint and direction, and Rajesh for the very lucid and great explanation, bringing the 'ah ha' to my mind. It's interesting and exciting to get understanding, and I'm greatful for your time and help. Kindest regards, Patrice
