Reconciliation between Vimshottari and other Dashas

How does one reconcile between Vimshottari dasha and other dashas? Do

all dashas have to be in agreement for something to fructify or does

one give a particular dasha system more importance than other

depending on the issue in consideration.

 

For example, Rasi Narayana Dasha for Marriage might give a result

that conflicts with Vimshottari dasha - say saturn antar-dasha. Then

how do we go about the prediction.
