Guest guest
dear respected gurus, please pardon me for bringing a non-related subject in this discussion list but i could not find better gurus, better views and group where i can put up my curiosity. please pardon my ignorance, but I am wondering if there is any relation between these two sciences, vedic astrology and palmistry. More specifically, Is there a definitive way to a.) draw a picture of subjects left and right palm (major/ minor lines, size/color of mount etc) by studying his rasi chart, and b.) by studying subjects palm, if rasi...D60 charts can be created. i have heard about angul jyotish, panchanguli mantra sadhana, people who identifies birth time from subject's palm, but i am not sure if brith place (viz. lattitude/longitude) can be identified from person's hand, assuming person does not know his birth place. I have read a book in past, written by shri dr. shrimali ji, where he narrated how he learned to calculate subject's date of birth using palmistry. i tried his calculations on various subjects and failed miserably, and i think i am to blame there and might not have understood it correctly. anyways, i am wondering if any of param pujya guru may explain how to do it, and how accurate it is from their experiance. I would also appreciate very much if respected gurus express their views about palmistry. regards utpal
Guest guest
Dear Guptal, I am not an expert but I studied some Astro Palmistry and as you said it is possible to cast the Lagna and other planets from the Palm but it will be a tedious job and I use this only when doubt arises about time of birth. You can check with the previous messages about Astro Palmistry . I hope this helps you, With best regards, Ramadas Rao. gutpal <gutpal > wrote: dear respected gurus, please pardon me for bringing a non-related subject in this discussion list but i could not find better gurus, better views and group where i can put up my curiosity. please pardon my ignorance, but I am wondering if there is any relation between these two sciences, vedic astrology and palmistry. Guest guest
On the subject, I went to see an astro palmist while i was in sri lanka, a Dr Kingsley Goonetilleke. To my surprise he was able to tell my lagna from looking at my palm. It can be argued that he ascertained my lagna from my physical make up but the rest of his reading was quite accurate as well. He was able to judge my personality and mental make up precisely. Unfortunately I suspect the astrological software he was using was quite innacurate so the astrological chart he cast for me was not very precise, with dasa systems out by a factor of many years. The main point being that despite his innacurate software program his palm reading was truly excellent. love jaan vedic astrology, Ramadas Rao <ramadasrao> wrote: > OM KLIM KRISHNAAYA NAMAHDear Guptal,I am not an expert but I studied some Astro Palmistry and as you said it is possible to cast the Lagna and other planets from the Palm but it will be a tedious job and I use this only when doubt arises about time of birth. You can check with the previous messages about Astro Palmistry .I hope this helps you,With best regards,Ramadas Rao. > > gutpal <gutpal> wrote:dear respected gurus, > > please pardon me for bringing a non-related subject in this > discussion list but i could not find better gurus, better views and > group where i can put up my curiosity. > > please pardon my ignorance, but I am wondering if there is any > relation between these two sciences, vedic astrology and palmistry. > More specifically, Is there a definitive way to > > a.) draw a picture of subjects left and right palm (major/ minor > lines, size/color of mount etc) by studying his rasi chart, and > > b.) by studying subjects palm, if rasi...D60 charts can be created. > > i have heard about angul jyotish, panchanguli mantra sadhana, people > who identifies birth time from subject's palm, but i am not sure if > brith place (viz. lattitude/longitude) can be identified from > person's hand, assuming person does not know his birth place. > > I have read a book in past, written by shri dr. shrimali ji, where he > narrated how he learned to calculate subject's date of birth using > palmistry. i tried his calculations on various subjects and failed > miserably, and i think i am to blame there and might not have > understood it correctly. anyways, i am wondering if any of param > pujya guru may explain how to do it, and how accurate it is from > their experiance. Guest guest
Dear Jaan, There are books which make it possible to make charts from the palm. Such books are listed under the heading Astro-palmistry on www.vedicweb.com/Manorama.htm . Some astrologers in India make chart from palm only and do not rtely on birth data. Guest guest
Dear Utpal, Most of the predictive science branches from India are based on Vedic Astrology. Some linked the horoscope with the mounts, shape and lines on the palm to Planets houses their strengths etc. of astrology. It is precisely varition of astrology as are Jaimini system, Ashtakavarga system, Nadi shashtra etc. There are some who predict by looking at one's shadow and are known as chayashastry. They have developed their own parameters to do this. You will find that some astrologers are able to fix ascendant by looking at a Jataka, based on his features , colour, strature and style of walking etc. Like astrology, one has to study the science in its entirety before achieving success in correct prediction on those parameters.
