Guest guest
What is this Shani Transit? Everyone is talking of Sani Transit into Gemini. I have been using JHL5 and I see that Shani is already into Gemini about a month ago. He is having forward motion since then and is not retrograded back into Rishabha . Guest guest
---Om Brihaspataye Namah--- Dear Shri Gopal, Saturn already transited into Gemini last year in June/July. It was retrograde for sometime and now he is in direct motion, transited back into Gemini around first week of April. As explained in previous emails, people in South India are talking about the same transit tomorrow because they probably use a different ayanamsa and not the standard ephemeris as used in most softwares. But even then I am not convinced because I recollect last year that the same people were also talking about the two transits of Ju and Sa (see www.chennaionline.com/astro for example)! What are they talking about then? I think this resembles the frenetic gold buying on a particular day wherein some wise persons will suddenly and mysteriously declare that this day is particularly auspicious for buying gold and a lot of people will rush to T.Nagar in Chennai for buying the gold and ensuring themselves prosperity for countless generations to come. It is on these days that I can never quite believe that India is a poor country (materially, let me hasten to clarify)! regards Hari vedic astrology, "S.Gopal" <egs@v...> wrote: > What is this Shani Transit? > Everyone is talking of Sani Transit into Gemini. > I have been using JHL5 and I see that Shani is already into Gemini about a month ago. Guest guest
Dear Shri Hari, Can you please elaborate on the Shani and Jupiter this year? From what I know (which can be wrong), Jupiter shall move to Virgo in August and Shani is as ususal a mystery to me. Guest guest
---Om Brihaspataye Namah--- Dear Sudharsan, This is interesting. How can the Vakhya Siddhantha give more than one months difference (as compared to Ganita Siddhantha) for the transit of Sa back into Ge when otoh last year, they were apparently in accordance for the respective transit of Ju/Sa last year? If you have access to the Vakhya Panchangam, could you please tell us the dates for the transit of Ju into Cn last year as well as the expected transit of Ju into Le this year? Could you also say if a similar transit for Sa into Ge was reported last year (ie., 2002)? regards Hari vedic astrology, "Sudharsan Srinivasan" <sudhar108> wrote: > Jaya Jagannatha > > In Tamilnadu, the Vakhya Siddhantha is prevalent especially in the > famous Tirunallaru Sanishwara temple.
