Yes, how to see then when marriage is not promised in the chart? E.g. if 2nd from UL is badly afflicted, then marriage will not materialise. No need to look at 8th from UL, because a first marriage will not happen. Now some may say that living together without marriage or a sexual relationship without even living together may also be seen from UL, but that may not be so, since it will not be a marriage altogether. For this rather the 7th house and A7 has to be seen, and if this is afflicted also, then the native will not have any relationships at all. Of course, to confirm this, also the Navamsa should have similar indications.
