Fasting on UL Days..ANS.

Alot of memebers asked me questions so I have put them all together here for

everyones convenience.I again expect Gurus to correct me where ever I am

wrong.Please scroll below:

What if UL is in the 12th from AL ?

Dear Prakash,

does this mean divorce?... Also does the placement of UL lord and AL lord make a

difference? Here the AL and UL lord both are Saturn placed in Taurus.

AL- Capricorn

UL- Aqaurius

Should i also look at the spouse's chart regarding UL and AL or it does not matter?

........Divorce means the end of a marriage. The sustenance is always seen from

the second house. So the second house form UL will indicate the longevity of

the marriage or how the marriage is sustained. Malefics- in this house,

aspecting it or giving argala on it will threaten the marriage and can be used

to time the end of the marriage .The placement of the UL lord will further give

more details or may confirm the above. Lord of UL in Marana sthana with malefics

influencing it can be one such indication.Presence of AL with UL will not change

the results in anyway but will make the native very giving and the native will

try thier best to keep the marriage happy.So benefic influeces may balance this

situation out and save the marriage. One chart is enough to see the results.

1. As i have understood that fasting is giving, can fasting be considered in

another aspect as cleansing. If this is appropriate, then fasting on AL days

would be beneficial in cleansing of the image, say for a film star or

politician or even the common man.

........Anna is represented by Moon and the Moon is the greatest purifier.So

fasting would help remove some evil doshas but at the same time Arudha is all

about maya and do we really want to give our soul to maya? We spend so much

time praying and fasting to over come the maya so why make efforts to be lost

in it?

Also, as Denis and other members have pointed out, what if AL and UL are in the

same house, then both would spend a lot of time together and avoid

significations of that house, but fasting (with AL and UL togther) in this way

might be harmful? so what does such a native do? should he fast or not fast.

.........In case of UL being present with AL this maintains a balance.The native

is fasting on the day where he is giving to UL at the same time while to AL and

hence its not dangerous in that sense.Such a person is offcourse very involved

in thier marriage and the fast will further promote that.

2. What happens if the AL, UL and A7 are together in the same house, what would this exactly show.

........The native is seen as some one who enjoys life alot.Also he may have a

love marriage or the A7 realtionship may lead to marriage.The other results of

AL and UL together remain the same.

3. Also, as I understood from further posts, pls correct me here Guru Sanjay,

that we must fast and then donate the food saved to get real/appropriate

results. Just wanting your stamp since some of the learned members had

different opinions or maybe I read things too fast.

......Ill let Sanjay answer this one.Though I also understood from his email that

its a good gesture to donate the food grain.

4. Should the grains be rice or wheat and should it be donated to any temple of

Vishnu avatar, I am thinking on these lines since 12th house is governed by

Lord Vishnu.

5. Also, if marriage is not promised in the chart, would fasting on UL days promise marriage.

........Perhaps its important to understand when marriage is not promised .The

fast removes doshas and at times additional remedies are given for curses in

the chart but I am sure a true jyotish can see this.So if remedies can bring

marriage, is it not promised?

THE ARUDHA LAGNA AND UPAPADA LAGNA LORD CAN BE THE SAME LORD, FOR

EXAMPLE AL IS IN CAPRICORN AND UL IS IN ACQUARIUS. AS PER THE ANSWER

ABOVE, FASTING ON SATURDAY IS BOTH GOOD AND BAD FOR THE NATIVE.

PLEASE EXPLAIN???

...........I have already explained above that fasting in such a case will

benefitt the UL.Please read above.

I have tried to answer all the people who asked me questions but please do

forgive me for any wrong information as I am not a guru and I hope to be

corrected.
