Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna, Respected Gurus & members, Can anybody shed some light on the Bhava Chakra? Some questions that I have are: 1. How would the significations/effects of a graha change with a different placement in the rasi and bhava chakra? 2. It is said that planets get strength when they are close to the ascendant degree. Say somebody has an ascendant at 1 deg. or 29 deg. - then, how would you align the strength of a graha at the same degree in a given house, vis a vis its' weakness due to avastha. Check the sphuta bala, i.e. positional strength, which decreases if the planet is far away from house cusp. > 2. It is said that planets get strength when they are close to the > ascendant degree. Take both into consideration. Outside of Sayannadi avasthas I did not have much success with the rest of the systems. They seem to be too simplistic. As for Sphuta Bala, if any planet is within 15 degrees to a certain house cusp, it will naturally influence it, but the effect is more subtle if they are placed in different signs.
