Guest guest
OM KLEEM KRSHNAAYA NAMAH Dear Sanjayji, I am very happy to see you back on this list. But one request is that please dont praise me.You know my AK is Chandra indicating motherly caring and MY MOTHER BHUVANEHWARI is always with me to do such caring in distress. I personally respect you too much and love you from my heart. With best regards, Ramadas Rao. Sanjay Rath <srath (AT) srath (DOT) com> wrote: ||Om brihaspataye namah|| Dear Jyotisha, I thank one and all for their support to this prayer for forgiveness on the auspicious Guru Pusyami day. My sincere gratitude goes - 1) to Sri Narasimha Rao, Sri T.V.Rao, Sri Dah, Sri Shridhar K, Sri Sailesh Rana, Sri Chandrasekhar, Sri Ramdas, Sri Ramnarayan, Sri Sarat Chander, Sri Kasim Chowdhary, Sri Sriram Nayak, Sri Ramesh, Smt Lakshmi Ramesh, Sri Jagmeet Dhindsa, sweet Samir, Phyllis Chubb, Sri Fayyaz, Sri Ramesh Gangaramani, 2) to Anna for sharing her innermost feelings and joining in this prayer 3) to Dhira Krishna Das, a priest I have always admired for his knowledge of the subject and know for sure that he shares a great love for Jagannatha. Hope we can share some nice moments in this planet in understanding the brilliant scheme of 'trinipada vichakrame vishnur gopa adabhyam, atho dharmani dharayan'..Rig Veda. Dhira please also forgive me for my anger as Mars is something that I have not handled properly for many lives (Mars aspects lagna in all 16 divisions). And do not wish to fail in this life again. Yes, you are right about the Saturn. Also remember that Saturn represents the selfishness within every man. It is this that causes more strain as it is the AK and compels you to become selfless. I think it is good for spiritual enlightenment. In the long run whatever saturn does is as per the teachings of his diksha guru Brihaspati. Although Saturn is the chief among the planets of darkness, as Dharmaraja, he was the cause of fall of Ravana. Look at it this way, the incident was unpleasant, but if it had not happened, I would never have written about Sri Achyuta Das as I keep deferring this (Saturn aspects lagna). I would never have bothered to clarify about Doksha and Siksha Guru, as I am lazy (Kumbha rasi). So if you have been instrumental in any way, although the way was unpleasant (Mars), it resulted in good happening in the knowledge that I wrote about. Thank you and please bear my impulse.Let us rejoice that Brihaspati has opened our eyes further. Incidentally, do you know what Guru dakshina Saturn gave to Jupiter?? remind me after July and I will write on this issue. 4) to Jesse Abbot, for his patience and supportive prayer. 5) to Brendan Feeley, the greatest HEARTand the pride of SJC. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay Rath, Jaya Jagannatha! Thank you for your kind words, and thank you for forgiveness. Let your Mars be forgiven as well, I'm also not free from Mars's aspect on my lagna. >Let us rejoice that Brihaspati has opened our eyes further. Incidentally, >do you know what Guru dakshina Saturn gave to Jupiter?? I don't know if you are referring to the same, but I have read the story of Shani going before his guru, telling him he was about to enter his Moon constellation. Upon hearing this, Brhaspati got frightened, and asked him how long Shani was planning to sit on his Moon. Then Shani told him - 7 and a half years. Brhaspati then pleaded with Shani that he could stay only 1 1/4 praharas (3 hours 45 min) on his Moon. When that time had arrived Shani took the form of a watermelon merchant, and sold 2 watermelons to Brhaspati, who was on his way to Earth, where he tought to bathe until the time of Shani passing over his Moon was over. With his tricks Shani then changed the watermelons, which Brhaspati kept in a bag, into the severed heads of the sons of the king and his minister. Thus Brhaspati was caught guilty of killing these sons and so was ultimately going to be executed by being put on a stake, were it not that just at that moment the 3 hours 45 min. had passed by. Indeed, there is no planet so cruel as Shani. Those who have Shani as AK must be very careful not to offend him, lest they will be put into great trouble. Gurudeva, you also have Shani as AK. And my Shani is sitting on your lagna, with your lagna lord Jupiter in it. It looks like Shani taking instructions from Brhaspati in this case. Remarkably, I counted exactly 36 days from your last letter till this one. My diksha guru also has Shani as AK, with Jupiter in 7th from my Shani. Unfortunately, I do not know his lagna. Best wishes, Yours sincerely, Dhira Krsna dasa
Guest guest
||Om brihaspataye namah|| Dear Dhira Krishna, You are not only brilliant but also very learned. That episode from the Surya Purana..(is my memory right) translates into actually one year of suffering on earth. That 36 days is really remarkable....your brilliant mind is at good work again. would that not be 1 1/4 months , just like the 1 1/4 prahara. So, is there some equation where one prahara of the gods is equal to one month on earth? Have you checked Manu smriti. It would be a good service to try to fix your Diksha Guru's lagna. You must have done some work on this already.
