AK Kendradi Graha and Rasi Dasas

There was some discussion on AK Kendradi Graha dasa recently. I just want to add

my 2 cents to the discussion.

 

AK Kendradi dasas show the experiences of the soul. AK Kendradi Graha dasa shows

experiences with respect to people and AK Kendradi Rasi dasa shows experiences

with respect to situations. Rasis shows situations, while planets show people.

 

Let me give two examples using my chart. Birthdata: 4 April 1970, 5:42:15 pm

IST, Machilipatnam, India (81 E 08' 00", 16 N 10' 00")

Example 1: My contact with my astrology guru Pt. Sanjay Rath started on 27 November 1997.

I met Sanjay ji in Ketu-Saturn-Mercury pratyantardasa. Mahadasa lord represents

me and antardasa lord represents the people I meet. During this period, Ketu

represents me, i.e. I was very spiritually inclined then and gained in

spiritual knowledge. Saturn represents the other souls who entered my time

during that period. If you look at my D-24, you will see that Saturn is the 9th

lord and aspects 9th. So he represents my teacher. Thus Saturn antardasa brought

me in touch with my teacher.

 

The pratyantardasa was that of Mercury. Pratyantardasa at the time of meeting

someone shows the nature of relationship with that person. Mercury shows a

scholarly and student relationship.

I met Sanjay ji in Sc-Vi-Cn pratyantardasa.

 

Scorpio is a Brahminical sign and the 3rd house in my rasi chart. Soul, when

placed in it, is enthusiastic about Brahminical knowledge. While mahadasa shows

me, antardasa shows others. Virgo antardasa is aspected by Sun (BK) and guru

pada (A9) in Pisces. So it can bring an interaction with a guru. Virgo being a

Mercurial sign, this interaction could be over telephone or internet rather

than physically. Note that AK Kendradi Graha dasa shows the people, while AK

Kendradi Rasi dasa shows situations, circumstances etc!

 

Pratyantardasa is that of Cancer. Cancer is the 11th house in my rasi chart,

owned and aspected by Moon (AK). This is the main factor behind my soul taking

to astrology. So pratyantardasa being Cancer at the time this relationship

started means that the relationship is meant for my occult knowledge.

 

Example 2: My contact with my student Narayan Iyer started on 24 October 1998.

The comments on mahadasa are the same. I was spiritually inclined at that time.

 

Antardasa lord Rahu is placed in moolatrikona in the 5th house in my D-24. While

the 9th lord Saturn shows a teacher, Rahu in 5th would show a student instead.

So, during Rahu antardasa of this important Ketu mahadasa, an important student

came into my life.

 

The pratyantardasa lord Jupiter shows the nature of this relationship. While the

pratyantardasa when I met Sanjay ji was that of Mercury (student), the

pratyantardasa when I met Narayan was that of Jupiter (teacher). My

relationship is that of a teacher. Moreover, Jupiter pratyantardasa shows that

Narayan will be one of my most sincere students.

Antardasa is that of Scorpio now. As Scorpio aspects 5th house, 5th lord and A5

and its lord joins 5th lord in A5, its antardasa can bring interaction with a

student. Because Scorpio is the 3rd house of communications and is a

Brahminical sign, this relationship can start under a Brahminical communication

kind of environment. Narayan and I met at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam when I went to

there to teach Rasi-Bhukta Vimsottari dasa. Contrast this with Virgo antardasa

which brought an internet meeting.

 

Pratyantardasa is that of Virgo. Virgo is aspected by Sun in A9. Sun is the 12th

lord of giving. He is in A9 showing my fulfillment of my dharma. He shows giving

knowledge and fulfilling my dharma. His influence on pratyantardasa shows that

the purpose of this relationship (from my viewpoint) is to give knowledge and

fulfill dharma. Contrast this with the pratyantardasa at the time of meeting

Sanjay ji, where the purpose was to gain occult knowledge!
