Guest guest
Namaste Listmembers, I don't like to be 'preached at', I feel I have had enough bigotry thrown at me through my childhood experiences of 'religion'. When the philosophical discussion first began on the list, I thought, 'Cool! I have been waiting for this!'. Everything I want to know but am too afraid or ignorant to ask about the expressions of God is encapsulated in the Vedas. To have these brillant concepts explained to me through a friendly, intellectual discussion had me rivetted to the board. Unfortunately the tone deteriorated to 'my god's bigger than your god' buffoonry and disappointed, I lost interest. If a discussion can be held with poise, wonder and humility, it would be the greatest learning. After all, jyotish is the eye of the Vedas!. I have been crude and egocentric during my time on these lists and I sincerely apologise to any and all I have offended through my willfullness. OM TAT SAT Ann. Guest guest
Dear all, I truly mean this: "If I have offended any Vaishnava or Shaiva, your forgiveness is humbly solicited. If you can point the offensive statement, I will send an apology personally to you." Namaste. Rageshwari.
