Guest guest Posted April 30, 2003 Report Share Posted April 30, 2003 Gurus Narasimhaji, Sanjayji and others, Namaste. In JHL v.5, under "Houses", cusps are used for determining houses. Like if my Lagna is on 5th degree of Aries, then the first house is shown to be 20 degree Pisces - 20 degree Aries. So a planet in the 25th degree of Aries is shown in 2nd house and not in first house. So my question is that, should we consider this cusp house system? (Chalit Chakra?) Or should we consider the "same sign-same house" system like whatever the Ascendant's degree is, the whole sign becomes the first house and so on? Most of the people advised me to take same sign-same house system. I also read in Das Goravaniji's site that the same sign-same house system is mostly used and it works very fine. So I am very much confused here, should I use the Chalit Chakra as shown in JHL or same sign-same house? This is a very basic confusion of me so I hope that Gurujis will put light on this.
