Thank you very much for your long analysis. It is giving insights lot of subjects. Is it possible to learn some thing from you on this similary guidelines? Can you please recommend some books ? Infact the idea was to get your views and corrections on the compatibility exercise done. i am indeed happy to see your response. The idea is to bring out a format based on which the compatibility exercise can be carried out. The broad outline for this work was taken from the work "The Best Bet" by Shri K.JayaSekhar. His work can be briefly summarised as below: Check 1. Temperamental structure agreement based on Mars position. Check 2.Psychological agreement based on Rashi(Rashi lord,Vashya and Stree Deerga). Check 3.Physical and material agreement based on Dina, Mahendra, Vedha and Yoni. Check 4. Spiritual agreement based on Rajju,Nadi and Gana. Check 5.Karmic control agreement(papa samya) based on evaluating and comparing malefic content in both charts. Check 6. Future situations based on the planetary cycles(changes of major vimsottari dasa cycles for the couple within a year is not preferred). Check 7. Mutual understanding based on the mutual positions of Sun , Moon, Mars, Venus and Jupiter. Over and above this i took into consideration upapada , darapada and karaka matching also. i took darapada matching as somewhat similar to physical agreement. Gothra was not mentioned by Shri Ravi. In addition Dosha samya was also considered. I feel the placement of 8th lord in 2nd damages Kutumba to a great deal. As regards dasa sandhi (within one year) it is felt causes undesirable/unfavourable events like separation (like wife in Chennai and husband in Srilanka). i place my request to you Sanjay to come up with a write up(if not a book) on this compatibility topic so that people like me can know the check lists. As regards the ida,pingala and sushmna nadis the same was stated by Shri K.Jayasekar and not Shri.Irangatti Rangacharya. Thanks a lot for your response. By checklist i mean the various parameters you would consider before arriving at a decision as to accept/reject a chart. i do understand that the whole exercise of compatibility is not an easy one. i have the copy of Prasna Marga and definitely shall take it into cosideration.
