As far I know about SA... it's complete A$$hole...... even then it is called vedic astrology..... that makes me wonder, how can there be a new vedic astrology again..... do you guys understand my point? People will come from nowhere and boost their ego, so called wisdom and say that Vedas needs change, .......it's complicated, contradictory...... so they will alter Vedas, alter the Gita....... make it 'simpler' and 'better', 'easier', 'concise'........ so that people need less time to read it..... There will be people coming and create "New Newtons Laws" then what you people call him?...... crazy, right?...... because Newton died long ago than even we were born.. so there can be no "New Laws of Newton"...... since he died long ago....... Similarly, there can not be "New vedic astrology"... c'mon guys, vedas is already complete...... it is not editable anymore..... it is not a guestbook that people will come and sign their comments in it...... if you are hindus then believe that it was the voice of god..... do not try to edit or alter this....... Vedic astrology came from vedas..... so it is only one... there can be no new vedic astrology....... if any of you make another astrology..... call it something else..... dont call it vedic astrology..... call it "My astrology" or "Chaudhry astrology"....... because you created this astrology..... not vedas did....... so dont call it vedic astrology...... and it is more laughable when they tease vedic astrology to be contradictory, void....... again they take shelter of vedic astrology?...... it is like I called you stupid, then later i came to you for a piece of bread...... they call vedic astrology to be bogus...... fine, let them say..... but then why calling their own astrology to be "vedic"...... how did it come from vedas...... tell me any of you who are after SA like a madman....... you creat bogus sytems like SA..... we have no prob..... that's your matter..... but dont give it another name....... you people may not be able to create a correct system...... that's ok...... but you can at least give a correct NAME..... that we can expect from you...... if you are so brilliant to give new system, then you can also give a new name....... then dont use a name that is already used for something else....... dont call it vedic astrology........ They are criticizing the manipulations done in calculations by SA and then the corresponding convenient predictions generated by such manipulations. Its so obvious that SA people are more interested in their manipulations to sell their goods and are trying to commercialize the ancient knowledge in worst known manner. Long time ago, I was a member of their group for few days and found very offensive and derogatory remarks in various messages for Jamini Astrology and Vedic astrology. So I can identify with Deepakji and Sanjayji here. At least they had the great guts to criticize all this gimmickery of kavachs etc(which I found were selling for different prices and different currencies from Nagpur to Australia on the net). Even I thought for a long time, that may be the kavach really works and may be SA has unique concepts, which I cannot understand due to limitations of my brain. Now its clear that its like" The Emperor has no clothes"…Even if the kavach works(let us assume for a second), then why is it so costly?We have lots of Yantaras in Hinduism which can be made on copper plates like Dash_maha_vidya yantra, at reasonable costs…. all these yantras provide self confidence and some protection only. They just give some peace of mind only. These yantras do not control the benefic or malefic effects of any planets. So how come one kavach can control the entire spectrum of astrological effects. There are several such yantaras appearing regularly in various astrological magazines. So the kavach is also like a yantra only and nothing more than that. how can a kavach or yantra become more powerful than all our Karma and control it completely? " The Emperor has no clothes"… Sometimes some people act like Gods and forget what happened to ancient civilizations, which were cruel in nature and which vanished eventually. When the Great ShaniDev did not spare even Lord Ganesha, so we need not worry about such organizations like SA etc., Shanidev will take care of them eventually and whenever they desire that enough is enough. Guest guest Posted April 24, 2003 Report Share Posted April 24, 2003 Dear Ravindraji, Actually Sir, I could not understand the tone of your enquiry...Well with all due reagrds, I have absolutely no desire to get into any controversies regarding SA etc., nor do I have any desire to stop people from selling their analysis, kavachs, yantras, talismans, etc., I think in america and other western countries, its considered a legal profession to offer intuitional/intellectual help, which may or may not have any connection with astrology or reality. After all, everyone/anyone is making their living somehow in this free world and why should I interfere with their/anyone's livelihood. To be specific, I saw a certain amazing astrological ring(linked websites) in Sept/Oct 2001, and one of the websites was mentioning the kavachs etc., in that ring ...If I can ever locate the websites, I will just let you know offline. However it was a very prominent website with colorful pictures of Gods, Astrology etc., and that's all I remember. Also all this may be of academic interest only now and also I have no intentions to hurt anyone. GOD SAVE THE BRAVE! The Kavach/es has not been mentioned anywhere under services offered. I offer only Consultations and some times, make horoscopes. The details about books, magazines, software, articles, etc, etc is for info to visitors. You may like to know that even Sri Sanjay Rath's books have been mentioned on my website. Does it imply that I sell his books, please ? Also, Sri K N Rao, Sri B V Raman, Sri P V R Rayudu, etc..etc...And on Cookery, Smt Tarala Dalal, also, and hundreds of links on Management, ...I have highest regards for all of them .... For your information, even Mr M. Imran, a couple of years ago asked me with reference to my website if I could supply to him Jyotish books, magazines, etc. because he is in Pakistan, to which I responded that he will have to contact publishers / authors directly, my website is for information to visitors, not advice / place for purchasing.
