Please Help me in Understanding this !!!

Dear Guru's and Members,

 

Please help me in understanding the following:-

 

A friend of mine is working in a Software consulting company, hence

he serves a client for some time and goes to another.

 

This is called working on a Project and he is still with the same

consulting company.

 

Sometimes, there are no clients, who can avail his specialized

knowledge and hence no projects for him, this is called beach/bench

time.

 

Now what I am struggling to understand the difference between the

following ( from Dasamsa D-10 perspective)

 

1) Change of a job between the current employer to a new employer (vs)

Client to a new client

 

2) Unemployed (no income,lost the job from the current employer) (vs)

on beach/bench ( with income, with the same consulting company)

 

Can some one please guide me to differentiate the above with some

example.
