Guest guest
Dear Gurus, Sarajit, & List, Greetings. Whats your opinion on the subject mentioned above that knowing once planetary type is the key to jyotish counselling and for understanding the basic actions, reactions, responses of the native. Most natives are generally guided by one foremost or the strongest Planet that set his/her Planetary type. Generally, its the lord of the Asc, moon or the Sun signs or the strongest planet influencing these factors that becomes our Planetary type. Sometimes, its the Atmakarak. The final dispositor can also become our Planetary type or the planet forming any of the Mahapurusha Yogas.Sometimes. there can be a mixture of of two planets also that form our Planetary type or there can be mixtyre of several equally influnecing planets. I think this is a useful jyotish tool and would seek further deeper points and opinions from the gurus and list students. Best wishes, Rajat bentley (AT) vsnl (DOT) com
Guest guest
Dear Rajat, We can put it this way, one amongst the planets is more likely to affect a Jataka than rest. This planet would be one influencing the Ascendant and the 5th house. It would certanily help in finding out how a Jataka reacts to stress situation, and would be of immense use in counselling him when he is facing some difficulty. The nearest description could be a planet that casts Chaya on the Jataka. One can learn to find the planet by analysing various charts and deep study. Various Chayas like "Aapyaa" chaya(Watery Chaya) are mentioned in texts. Guest guest
AUM GURUBYO NAMAH Dear Rajat, Your focus and concentration is visible in your question. Planetary type which defines the Sharira is the ruling planet at the time of birth calculated on the basis of difference between birthtime and Sunrise/Sunset in vighatis and allocated to the nine planets in the pattern of weak days followed by Rahu and Ketu. Planetary type which defines the karma/theme is the moon(nakshatra) starlord or lagna starlord or the governor of conditional dasas. Planetary type which is the significator of the soul is Atmakaraka/Sun. In general lagna is the body, moon is the mind and sun is the soul/jeevaatma. All these three are called as the tripod of life. This is similar to the concept of the temple where we have the outer structure, the inner prahara and the garba griha. The deity who is hidden inside/resides inside is the ishta devatha, the planetary lord placed in the 12th( 12th house indicates rahasya/secret) to Atmakaraka in Dharmamsa(D 9). There is another hint available here. 12th represents the padukas. Worshipping the padukas is the Bharata(Bharata the brother of Lord Rama - as the story of Ramayana reveals to us that the bratrukaraka is the Guru devatha) tradition. We find Sukra exalted in the house of Guru/Pisces in the jataka of Kalapurusha. Traditionally here in India padukas(Guru padukas) with a silver cover is worshipped with utmost devotion. The moral is that the key to enter into the garbha griha will be handed over to us by the Bratrukaraka/Guru devatha. Indeed blessed are those priests who are able to get a permission to enter into the garbha griha(garbha also means the point of origin - womb) where there is no scope for worldly oscillations (air circulation is not there - in other words beyond the boundaries of prana) and where the anubhava/experience of sparisa dhiksha, nayana dhiksha, mantra diksha and divya jyothi swaroopa is showered. If the karakamsa and the swamsa are not placed in compatible positions then the goal is not achieved. If all three are in harmony (compatible tatvas) then the life of the native would become the dyanamic Sudarsana to be lifted and used by the LORD. Dyanamism gives a hint about rotation and propulsion while su/swa-darshana means self realisation. Is not the inner parikrama a prerequisite for self-realisation? After identifying the three planetary types the unbiased evaluation of argalas and placement of malefic planets in trines and quadrants, i believe, will help in removing the thorns in the path of the spiritual pilgrimage - " FROM SEARCHING GOD TO LOOSING I/THE ONE WHO SEARCHED". Happily/happy to be yours, p.s.ramanarayanan Rajat Bhatia <bentley (AT) vsnl (DOT) com> wrote: Dear Gurus, Sarajit, & List, Greetings. Guest guest
Dear Ramanarayan ji, Thanks for your nice reply and for continuing this thread on exploring the Plantary Type. I would like to say here that judging of Planetary type should not be very complicated and even a beginner in astrology should be able to fairly judge it with some discrimination and judgement.Much in depth or higher level learning may not be required here. The factors helping us understand our Planetary Type are Lagna, Moon or the Sun, whichever is the strongest in terms of having strong planetary influences thus givng way to the planetary rays to enter the main domains of the natives pesonality viz body, mind and soul. The lords of these signs or the strongest planets influencing these signs planets will set the Planetary Type and the most dominant planet will usually determine the temperament, physical type of the native. I hope i am correct and would invite Gurus to participate in this discussion and also all students.
