About the 5 levels, the name Sadashiva is new to me. Understanding

these things is a bit difficult for someone who is not of Indian

background. Currently I am reading the Mahabharata in French.

Dear Martine,

Sadashiva is also one hard nut to crack.

For those who worship the Dasamavidya its easier to understand.

There are 10 shakti's or mothers, and each (except dhoomavati) have a mate.

 

Now each mate/spouse is a form of Shiva, hence Shiva and Shakti unite in various forms.

 

Now when we run through the various forms we come to the 10th and last form of

Shakti called Kamalatmika.. Now you will notice that Kamalatmika looks very

much like Lakshmi (thou with some small differences).. and then you look at her

mate - Sadashiva and he is very hard to tell apart from Vishnu ... this is

where the realisation comes that they are one and the same! This is a weird

realisation and i'm still pondering this. As indicated in past discussions, the

meditation on Sadashiva is the road to understanding god as formless and

nameless.. nirguna narayana.

 

Now there were some recent talks on differences between Shiva and Vishnu on

the lists and they will continue to be unanswered and unconclussive as long as

Mercury is trying to understand Pisces.. as you guessed he simply can't, he

just gets debilitated and more frustrated .
