Guest guest
Dear members, When is the best time to conceive a child according to Vedic astrology? I read somewhere that a to-be-mom should select a particular dasha for conceiving a baby. Doing this, she can ensure that the destiny of the to-be-born child is good since the timing of his/her birth has been selected. Please throw some light on this. Namaste, Rageshwari. Guest guest
Dear Rageshwari The article "The Art of Conceiving" at following location may guide you. http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/Conceive.Htm Sexual union, pregnancy and reproduction of human species are the essentials on which the world exists. Sexual union should never be based upon simple sense gratification. The time of conception (Garbhadhaana) is very important and should be carefully planned. The birth of Ved Vyaas, the great scholar and the author of Mahabharata is believed to have been the culmination of a union at a time when planetary positions were conductive to produce a philosopher. Guest guest
I thought I should share something I read in a book titled "Dharmasindhu" that was written in 1790 - 91 by Kashinathshastri Upadhyay. "Athagarbhadhankalha. Chaturthi, shashti, chaturdashi, ashtami, punchadashi rahitha tithayaha prashstha. Chandra, budha, guru, shura varaha shubha. Moola, magha, ravati, jyestha nakshatrani varjani. Bharani, Krutika, ardra, Ashlesha, poorva, poorvashadha, poorvabhadrapada, vishakha madhyamani sheshani shubhani sarve karyeshugocharechandrabalmavshyakum." Meaning: Except Chaturthi, shashti, chaturdashi, ashtami, fullmoon, and dark moon all other tithis are good for conception. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are the good days. Mool, Magha, Revati, and jyeshtha nakshatras are to be avoided. Bharani, Krutika, Aardra, Aashlesha, Poorva, Poorvashadha, Poorvabhadrapada, and Vishakha, these stars are medium and rest of the stars are to be considered good. As for any action chandrabala is a must" With best regards, Sadashiv. rageshwari75 <rageshwari75 > wrote: Dear members,When is the best time to conceive a child according to Vedic astrology?
