I keep hearing that either one of them indicates that someting unfortunate is going to happen? Is that true. Where can I find more information on this? Guest guest Posted March 28, 2003 Report Share Posted March 28, 2003 Dear Gopi, I am sure you can get alot of information by searching the message archives of the group site.Also the gurus will probably give you the best information,anyway I am trying to put down some basics about Rahu and Ketu.... Rahu and Ketu are the nodes.They do not have a physical body.So these are shadow planets.Rahu signifies desires,and causes rebirth.Ketu on the other hand signifies dettachment and leads one to Moksha.Ketu in any house also denies the fruits of that house to quite an extend where as Rahu may cause disrupption.If lumanires cojoin the nodes depending on the degrees ofcrouse it may lead to what is called a grahan yoga and may make things more difficult for the native.Rahu and Ketu move backwards as they are shadows.In general the Godess Druga may be worhispped to clam or controll Rahu and Lord Ganesh is the diety for Ketu.The effects of thier dasa can vary and other detials have to be seen to study them.
