Guest guest
Some astrologers opine that certain dasas are bad because it is the 4th dasa or the fifth etc., ( say mars dasa being the fifth will not give good results etc.) What is the basis? What is the weightage that has to be given in case it has to be followed? Guest guest
Dear Mr. Ranganathan, To me the concept of the dasa and the order of dasas itself is questionable. When we create a rule, such as in astrology, we find people who follow the rule and who dont follow the rule. We remember those cases where we get success and failures are coneveniently ignored... Use transits and directions for timing of events. Guest guest
Om Namo Naraayanaaya Dear Ranga, No its not ok, and its very cleverly pointed out by you. Now try this: Use Vimshottari Dasa from Moon, and calculate the 9 Tara's from Lagna. Similarly if you calculate Vimshottari from Lagna, then calculate the 9 Tara's from Moon. This seems to be what Satyacharya was trying to tell us. Guest guest
Namaste, Please describe the difference between, Tara if taken by using Lagn's Nakshatra and by Moon's Nakshatra. And this rule, as you mentioned, consider 9 taras from lagna for vimshottari moon, and consider 9 taras from moon for vimshottari lagna. Here this rule is for regular Vimshottari or Tribaghi Vimshottari, as Tara concept yields better result with Tribaghi Vimshottari dasa. Due to covering compelete 360 degree arc (27 nakshatras) in 120 years, while regular vimshottari covers only 9 nakshatras from Janm nakshatras.
