Guest guest
Dear PVR, Thank you for the excellent and illuminating reply. I do have one followup question in the context of exactly what you have written: In your interpretation, Lord Krishna says that he has created the devotion to specific deities and satisfies the good desires of the devotees through the specific deities. Applying this to Ishta Devatas, it means that Lord Krishna has created devotion to distinct Ishta Devatas in distinct people's charts - correct? But why? If my Ishta Devata is Ganesha and I am worshipping Shiva, what am I doing wrong? If I am doing nothing wrong, then what makes Ganesha my Ishta Devata and not Shiva? In what way is Ganesha more appropriate for my enlightenment? Thank you, Sundeep
