Dear club members and resp. Gurus,

After

going through" VEDIC REMEDIES IN ASTROLOGY"and the" LESSON ON ISHTA

DEVTA"by Pdt. Sanjay Rath ,I have slight confusion in selecting the

ishta devta and the palana devta in the following chart:DOB:3RD MAY

1975,TOB: 19:03,POB:DELHI

Navamsha positions:ARIES-MANGAL(Amk),SHANI(MK) CANCER-MOON VIRGO-

VENUS(AM),SUN(PK),RAHU SAGIT-JUPITER(GK) AQUARI-MERCURY(DK)

PISCES-KETU

1.For selecting ishta devta 12th from Virgo karkamsha(no planet is

here so considering the aspect of shani mangal from aries, also the

sign is leo whose lord is sun. so should we consider Sun as the

ishta devta or one among shani mangal as the ishta.(does this

particular combination of shani mangal denotes any Deity).

2.Now for selecting the palana devta,6th from amatyakaraka Mangal

(aries) is seen which is virgo having venus(atmakaraka),Rahu and

Sun ,now we should be going for the strongest among these three. If we

see the Navamsa rasi placement then venus is in debilitation but has

the highest degrees(AM) so should we consider venus as PALANA DEVTA

or Sun/Rahu.Does this combination of Venus,Sun &Rahu points towards

any particular Deity.

3.It is said that For waning Moon,Kali's das mahavidya are to be

considered and each of the das mahavidya is related to a particular

planet,i would like to know that once we have chosen waxing moon and

kali to be the deity then what is the criteria to further choseone

among the das mahavidya.

Thanks & Regards

Mayank Bakshi
