Children - Saptamsa Quiz - the correct answer

Dear Visti and all who had attempted to answer,

So here finally is the correct answer to my Quiz:

 

***The first child of the native born on 28 Nov 1972 at 15:20 in Ghent,

Belgium is a baby GIRL born 13 March 2002 at 17:30 in the same location as

her father and having a Leo lagna. Tithi of birth is Amavasya.***

 

The general indications which were mentioned about this child were

correct. Indeed, the birth was a difficult one, however not by C-section.

The child had almost suffocated due to a long birth of 18 hours and with

the umbilical cord wrapped around the shoulder. Health of the child was

bad after birth, but the child survived. The fact that the father was

shocked by such a birth is obvious and the couple are not planning any

other child. The mother did not have a miscarriage or abortion before this

child.

 

Now to Visti:

1) Ketu doesn't have lordship over a tithi, as given in the Crux of Vedic

astrology. Thus it would be Rahu's tithi or Amavasya. However, I do

believe it should be the strongest planet aspecting 10th from the LORD of

the sign representing the pregnancy. Did you have a look at the attached

chart of Nadia.jhd which I had sent in earlier message. BTW, did you get

that chart, maybe something went wrong with my computer.

2) Venus in Sagittarius with the aspect in rasi dristi of it's dispositor

Jupiter would have given enough strength to that Venus to give a boy,

though as you said, there is a papakartari yoga afflicting it. Rather, I

think that Venus conjoined Ketu (female) might have accounted for that.

Also, this would explain the heavy birth (Ketu is 6th lord) and the desire

not to have any more child after this.

 

Now we can see also Saptamsa Narayana dasha:

 

a) with Ketu in starting sign

Sag 1972-1975

Aries 1975-1985

Leo 1985-1997

Virgo 1997-2000

Capr 2000-2008

 

Capricorn has UL lord and the antardasha running of Taurus has UL and UL

lord aspecting.

 

b) with Ketu not in starting sign

Sag 1972-1975

Leo 1975-1987

Aries 1987-1997

Pisc 1997-2009

 

No Aspect of UL or it's lord in rasi dristi.

 

OK, maybe 7th from it is stronger as a starting sign?

 

Then it would be:

Gem 1972-1984

Aqua 1984-1993

Libra 1993-1995

Virgo 1995-1998

Taur 1998-2005

 

Taurus is aspected by UL and UL lord, but antardasha will go reverse or

direct depending on Ketu in the starting sign or not:

 

Ketu with Venus: Leo

Ketu not with Venus: Aries

 

Now Leo is aspected by Moon, UL lord in rasi dristi, while there is no

aspect as such on Aries. OK, Moon is conjoined Mars but we should not

forget the parivartana yoga, which will give Mars the function of Saturn,

and thus?

 

In Vimshottari dasha I have Ra-Ra-Sa. Pratyantardasha shows the lagna of

the child. Saturn is in 7th from the 5th in Saptamsa, which is stronger

than the 5th, and Sun is the strongest of it's trines, since Sun is in own

sign, thus giving a lagna of Leo.
