In your reply you mentioned that with Gemini lagna the tithi would be

Panchami/Trayodasi, i.e. lorded by Jupiter. If you would have taken the

10th from the 5th house, then Jupiter only aspects in graha dristi. While

the nodes aspect on the house and it's lord in rasi dristi. Wouldn't that

be stronger, or did you count the 10th from the 5th lord, Virgo? Here

Jupiter aspects both rasi and graha dristi, as well as rasi dristi on it's

lord, Mercury.

 

Another question: I tried the Saptamsa Narayana dasha for my Quiz chart.

There is a parivartana yoga between Mars and Saturn. Would that reverse

the counting for dasha period, I mean for Aries, odd footed sign, will we

have to reverse the counting? That means 4 years for Aries dasha and 2

years for Capricorn? Or not?

 

I will give the answer to my Quiz tomorrow.

No, it should be it's lord. The sex of the child is determined from

conjunctions or sign placement of the Lord of 5th/9th,7th etc. See this

example in attached file. Male chart, first 2 sons, then a daughter, 9th

house is Libra, the 10th from it has no planets, except for it's lord -the

Moon- no planets aspect and for it's lord only Sun-Saturn aspect in graha

dristi. Yet the 3rd child (daughter) was born on caturthi tithi, lorded by

Mercury. Venus, 9th lord is debilitated in Virgo, 10th from it is Gemini,

aspected by it's lord, exalted Mercury.

10th from it is Cancer.

Rahu and Ketu have Rasi Dristi on Cancer.

Rahu and Ketu also have Rasi Dristi on Moon.

Ketu is stronger, as its sign recieves dristi from own lord.

Ketu is same as Mars, i.e. Triteeya & Ekadasi.

Visti: I have not seen Parivartana's change the dasa length, but sometimes it

can change the initiating sign, when we look at vargas-narayana dasa.
