We don't know what to do, because it seems no reason from medical side. Maybe there is some astrological reason? Could anyone help? I too have rahu in the 8th, and rahu dasa had some really difficult periods for me too. Rahu is currently in transit over her ascendant and aspecting her ascendant ruler venus. If this is the problem, things will improve by september/october 2003. There may be overseas travel or moving house after that as Rahu goes into the 12th and at the same time saturn aspects the 4th house. I notice that problems caused by rahu are often hard to diagnose. Rudra yoga (Moon conjunction Venus) aspect Leo and gives a period of weak vitality. She was running Rahu dasa Ketu and Mercury bukhtis till start of mars 2003. Mercury is maraka in her chart in parivartana with another maraka Saturn, which conjoin strong maraka Ketu. This period wasn’t good for her health. But, in your wife’s chart Lagna is vargottama. “Such an ascendant becomes powerful and like the Mrityunjaya mantra protects the native from all calamities” (S.Rath). That vargottama occurs in Taurus owned by Venus. Venus bukhti is running mars 2003- January 2006. Venus is in Janmarksha in her chart, so I think, that your wife will recover soon her health in the start of that bukhti.
