Guest guest
Dear Members: could somebody give an astrological delineation that would lead one to conclude whether an individual is prone to complacency/lethargy. how to differentiate whether the above factor is part of one's permanent personality or is it more of temporary phenomena? with regards rangarajan
Guest guest
Dear Rangarajan, I don't know about this, but let me use logic to try -- and see if I can conclude wrongly with confidence I can think of the following possibilities: 1. 5L should be comfortably placed in a dusthana. By comfortably, I mean either exalted (e.g. Jup in Cn for a Le native) or in own house or moolatrikona. 5H should also not have the aspect of either Ma or Me, the two planets of activity. Why 5L? Because he rules emotions, and if he's in the shade (kind of), he's likely to not excite the native too much. Sa's aspect on 5H can also help 2. The lagna should have the aspect of Sa. Sloth is Sa, so I think thus. Plus, I've seen a few slothy Vi natives with Sa (5L) in asc. I can see the gurus now tearing into this post with relish now Warm regards, Ramapriya hubli - "brangarajan2001" <b.rangarajan <vedic astrology> Monday, March 10, 2003 11:07 AM [vedic astrology] complacency/lethargy > Dear Members: > could somebody give an astrological delineation that would > lead one to conclude whether an individual is prone to > complacency/lethargy. how to differentiate whether the above factor is > part of one's permanent personality or is it more of temporary > phenomena? > with regards > rangarajan
Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna Dear Jyotisha, Saturnian Lagnas are lethargic by nature. Stomach is seen from the 5th house, lord and Karak (digestive fires are ruled by Mars) which should be analysed. Also analyse the 7th from Arudha Lagna for nodes placement, to see diseases/complaints in the middle portion of the body. Guest guest
Dear ramapriya, visti: Thanks for your reply. it is understandable that saturn is given prominence in understanding complacency/lethargy. especially if saturn is placed in the first house, the individual tend to be somewhat slow and lethargic. I also think saturn in the fifth house can make the individual more complacent rather than lethargic. what i mean is that complacency is more of mental attitude rather than physcial inertia. in the former case, an individual tend to postpone though he is capable of achieveing/reaching a particular goal/end, while in the later case, an individual just does not stir himself to do anything. may be i am stretching myself, may be you can clarify in due course. with regards rangarajan At 12:16 PM 3/10/03 +0530, you wrote: >Dear Rangarajan, > >I don't know about this, but let me use logic to try -- and see if I can >conclude wrongly with confidence > >I can think of the following possibilities: > >1. 5L should be comfortably placed in a dusthana.
