Analysis?

Dear Astro-Gurus,

 

My neighbor was curious to ask me about their charts,

as they just began their efforts to start a family.

 

While going thru his wife's chart, I found the following

Date of Birth: July 6, 1974

Time of Birth: 2:10:15 am

Time Zone of Birth: 5:30 East of GMT

Longitude of Birth: 78 E 30

Latitude of Birth: 17 N 20

 

Ascdt 26 Ar 42 Krittika 1; Sun 19 Ge 55 Aardra 4

Moon 4 Cp 29 U.Shaa. 3 ; Mars 22 Cn 58 Aasresha 2

Mercury ® 12 Ge 23 Aardra 2 ; Jupiter 24 Aq 20 Poo.Bhaa. 2

Venus 18 Ta 10 Rohini 3 ; Saturn 15 Ge 31 Aardra 3

Rahu 24 Sc 34 Jyeshtha 3; Ketu 24 Ta 34 Mrigasira 1

BhavaLg 25 Ar 03 Bharani 4

 

 

In the rasi chart, the 5th lord, sun, is in 3rd belonging to

mercury, a neutral to sun, in the constellation of Aardra which

is the constellation of Rahu (currently run Rahu dasa and Mercury bhukti).

Rahu is in dreaded (?) 8th from Lagna, debilitated but obtaining neecha-bhanga

(and hence 4th from 5th house) and in

the constellation of Jyeshtha owned by Mercury (lord of 3 and 6 in rasi).

Incidentally, saturn lord of 10& 11 (rasi) is also in 3rd. Both mercury

and saturn are in combustion (close to sun)? However, Jupiter (lord of

9th and 12th) directly aspects 5th house and is in his own constellation

poorva. bhaadra, which is good(?) and moreover I assummed/concluded that

3rd is an upachaya house in this case.

 

Thus, 5th house is recieving aspects from saturn (with 5th lord sun), jupiter

(in

his own constellation)

 

 

However, when I look saptamsa chart which is as follows:

 

Libra: Ascdt, Sun, Rahu ; Pisc: Venus; Aries: Ketu; Gemini Mars; Cancer:

Jupiter;

Leo: Mercu, Moon; Virgo: Saturn

 

 

Ascdt lord venus is 6th (pisc), but fifth lord saturn is in 12th! Interestingly

Jupiter ascpects 5th from 10th (cancer) in D-7 chart.

 

 

One of my friends (in my astro-study circle, also a novice) predicted that She

will have

difficulties in concieving and she may even risk loosing pregnancy. If the

previous

two happen (difficulty and loosing preg.), he further predicts that the first

born

shall be a girl. These (diff in concieving and loosing preg.) literally

scared the couple who are just thinking about starting family.

 

Can some you Gurus shed your valuable opinion on this? and if so why?

If not why?

Dear Ravi,

I think there is nothing to worry about. The reason being that lord of the 9th

Jupiter aspects 5th and (If by direct aspect you mean from 11th house as I

presume) also Saturn in 3rd house. No doubt Saturn aspects 5th house but the

indication could be more that the native had a love marriage than danger to

progeny.Specially as the Saturn gets aspect of Jupiter.

With such horoscopes generally the parent has less number of children mostly a

male child and some times one male and one female.
