Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATHA! Dear Narasimha, Pranaams. While calculating Rasi arudhas for Aquarius and Scoprio there's a rule if one of the lords is in the sign, the Arudha is calculated from the other one. Similarly for Graha Arudhas it seems logical to me that if the plnaet ocuppies one of his own houses, then the Arudha is calculated from the other one. What do you think on this, because as far as I can see this rule is not programmed into JH. If sam Mercury is in Virgo and Gemini is empty, then the program considers Virgo stronger and calculates Graha Arudha from there (i.e. puts it into Gemini) whereas is we would calculate from Gemini, then it would fall into Sagittarius. Also for calculating Jagannatha Hora the rule is that if the planet is in a day sign (Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Aquarius and Pisces) it remains there and if in a night sign (the other 6) it goes to the 7th. However the software set to this option gives different calculations. Take for example my chart. Sag us supposed to be a night sign, still Mercury remains in it, whereas Sun and Moon exchange places. Please explain the logic behind this calculation.
