For example if Arudha lagna is in Aries, Red cars would be favourable as Aries is Red coloured. Arudha lagna is Sagittarius.The hypothesis does not go well with this jataka.He has a moon beam silver car which suits him.He had a milky white car sometimes,navy blue car,Dark Gray cars and all did not suit him.The trine from arudha Aries and Leo.This is true. I wonder (?) if any manufacturer ever offered brown colour on their standard cars... AL+11th+2 trines = 12/4 = 33.3% of the attributed sign colours, which leaves room for many "choices"... A car colour is subject to personal taste (in some societies often not your own if you are a man ...i.e. your wife decides <smile>), which is also influenced by other factors in the chart and in many countries it is a subject to social trends. As a principle I never keep a car more than 2 years and never buy a new car. The wife was an example, not my own (we do agree on the colour ...) D-4 had to do with immoveable property which is not exactly what a car is ... D-16 will be more appropriate but I think that you will be able to see only the TYPE of vehicle (karaka and lord) and not colours (gurus please correct if I'm wrong). Colors of the 12th house from AL, dushtanas , badakesh may not last long or give troubles. The colors mentioned are not for prediction but for suitability for the individual. Cars basically help the maya surrounding the individual and helps the Arudha to riseup. For predictions u may use D16 A4 etc depending on the car count. In my opinion, looking for colors can be signified from the dominating planet in the chart or the group of divisional charts. Say, one may like his/her car, wardrobe, color of room walls, etc.......... to be white or black or whatever. I know a person who seem to be covered in whites, escorted in whites, driven by whites.... everything white....just like dipped in a pure whitewash always. If we look for color of car in D-16, then guess where should we look for one's clothes? Its only the dominant planet or planets. Also, may be one like to have everything white in Venus dasha but may jump to black in sat dasha. Thats all the role of dominating tendencies and influences from various planets.
