Guest guest
Om Sreem Suragurave Brihaspataye Namah Dear Imran, > Some Favourites in Cricket World Cup 2003.> > 1) Australia.(1-Jan-1901) Natal Lagn=Pisces, Moon=Aries> > 2) South Aferica(10-May-1994) Natal Lagn=Cancer, Moon=Aries.> > 3) Sri Lanka (4-Feb-1948) Naral Lagn=Libra, Moon=Scorpio.> > 4) India (15-Aug-1947) Natal Lagn=Taurus, Moon=Cancer.> > 5) Pakistan (14-Aug-1947) Natal Lagn=Aries, Moon=Gemini. Cricket is one of my weaknesses. I am a big cricket fan and have been watching the world cup live on satellite dish. After seeing the way New Zealand played in their last two outings, I don't know why they cannot be considered as favorites. In fact, Kiwis have been doing well for a few years now and progressing steadily. They won the ICC knockout trophy in October 2000 and gave a drubbing to the reigning world champions Australia in January 2002. Kiwis were simply fabulous against the hosts yesterday, the dropped catches notwithstanding. They were brilliant against a revitalized West Indies the other day (don't dismiss Windies either BTW - their late order batsmen Powell and Sarvan are terrific finishers, while Lara, Chanderpaul and Hooper offer stability in the middle order. Even though bowling is - how strange - their achille's heel now, they are a good outfit overall). Would you happen to have the birthdata of New Zealand and West Indies? * * * > Inspite of great interest and passion for cricket, no serious > endeavour is done on this gourp, for analysing possibilities > of winning this cricket world cup. The reason simply is that there is no reliable method to predict these things. Thanks for the birthdata of the above 5 nations. Using your data, let me try to analyze the last 5 world cup winners and try to see the chances of various teams this year. * * * I'll make some intelligent assumptions on the factors to see. Dasamsa is the chart of activities of a nation. Sports events where a nation is represented by a team are a part of it. The 1st house, 5th house and 10th houses show success. The 3rd house shows boldness and determination and the 6th house shows overcoming obstacles. A planets should be well-placed from AL to give success in a tournament. As Mercury is the significator of sports, a planet has to be well-placed from Mercury. If we cast the annual Tithi Pravesha (TP) chart, a planet well-placed as outlined above can give success in its annual Tithi Ashtottari (TA) dasa. For that success to be related to sports, that planet in dasamsa should be well-placed with respect to the natal rasi chart Mercury (use natal rasi chart's AV - AshtakaVarga). I rectified Australia's birthdata by 5 minutes to explain the 1999 world cup victory. It may or may not be right. * * * (1) World Cup 1983: India won this. Annual TP chart data is July 19, 1982Time: 7:36:13Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)Place: 77 E 13' 00", 28 N 40' 00" Delhi, India When they won the cup on 25th June 1983, Jupiter dasa was running as per annual TA dasa. In rasi chart, Jupiter owns the 6th house of overcoming obstacles and Jupiter has 7 rekhas in his AV. In D-10 also, he has 7 rekhas in his AV and is in a sign with 35 rekhas in SAV. Jupiter is lagna lord in lagna (and GL lord in GL) in D-10, showing success and recognition in some activities. He has argala on the 3rd house. Saturn and Rahu own the 3rd house of determination and join Jupiter. Being their dispositor, Jupiter triggers their results (determination) and gives success. Jupiter is in the 4th from AL. Normally, a benefic in the 4th from AL should give success to opponents. However, Jupiter gets the maleficence of Rahu and gives his beneficence to him. So he gives failure to opponents. A better rated team was defeated in an upset. Moreover, Jupiter is favorable in Sg from Mercury of natal rasi chart (using AV) (2) World Cup 1987: Australia won this. Annual TP chart data is January 10, 1987Time: 22:45:46Time Zone: 10:00:00 (East of GMT)Place: 144 E 58' 00", 37 S 49' 00" When they won the cup on 8th Nov 1987, Moon dasa was running as per annual TA dasa. In rasi chart, Moon is exalted in 10th and has 6 rekhas in his AV. In D-10, Moon has 5 rekhas in his AV and is in a sign with 29 rekhas in SAV. Moon is the 3rd lord (showing determination and boldness) in D-10. He occupies the 11th house of gains (Pi) and aspects the 5th house of success. He occupies AL and GL and shows success (as the lord of 5th from AL in AL). Moon is favorable in Pi from Mercury of natal rasi chart (using AV). (3) World Cup 1992: Paskistan won this. Annual TP chart data is August 7, 1991Time: 14:34:44Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)Place: 67 E 03' 00", 24 N 52' 00" When they won the cup on 25th Mar 1992, Sun dasa was running as per annual TA dasa. In rasi chart, Sun is in 9th with a raja yoga (10th lord Sun and 5th lord Jupiter join in 9th) and has 4 rekhas in his AV. In D-10, he has 4 rekhas in his AV and is in a sign with 31 rekhas in SAV. Sun is in Vi lagna having argala on 3rd. There is an exchange between 6th lord Saturn and 3rd lord Mars. This show success. Sun in lagna in the 10th from AL also shows success. The result could've been given by Saturn or Mars also in their dasas, but Saturn in Sc and Mars in Aq are ill-placed from natal rasi Mercury in Cn (using AV). OTOH, Sun in Vi is well-placed. So Saturn and Mars can give fighting and success in some other activities and not in sporting. Only Sun can give sporting success. (4) World Cup 1996: Sri Lanka won this. Annual TP chart data is January 15, 1996Time: 17:18:08Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)Place: 79 E 52' 00", 6 N 56' 00" When they won the cup on 17th Mar 1996, Mars dasa was running as per annual TA dasa. In rasi chart, Mars is not so strong despite being exalted in the 6th from AL. In D-10, he has only 3 rekhas in his AV, but occupies a sign with 30 rekhas in SAV. Mars is in Sg lagna in D-10 (just like India and Pakistan when they won). He is in the 9th from AL and protects status. He has argala on the 3rd and owns the 5th house. He is the dispositor of the 6th house (Venus) and owns GL. Mars is favorable in Sg from Mercury of natal rasi chart (using AV). (5) World Cup 1999: Australia won this. Annual TP chart data is December 29, 1998Time: 21:28:23Time Zone: 10:00:00 (East of GMT)Place: 144 E 58' 00", 37 S 49' 00" When they won the cup on 20th June 1999, Rahu dasa was running as per annual TA dasa. In rasi chart, Rahu is well-placed in the 11th from AL and owns A5 and A10. In D-10, Rahu occupies lagna and GL in Le and has argala on 3rd. He is well-placed in the 9th from AL and protects status. * * * Overall, one may note that there is a similarity in the dasamsa placement of the planet whose TA dasa was running at the time of the World Cup victory. In 4 out of 5 cases, the planet is in lagna (and in AL aspecting the 5th from lagna in the remaining case). In 4 out of 5 cases, the planet is in GL (and owns GL in the remaining case). Is this research convincing enough to make predictions on its basis? Definitely not! But, what's the fun if we don't use the knowledge to make predictions, even if the chances of going wrong are high? :-) I will try to comment on the fortunes of the 5 teams whose charts were provided by Imran bhai. Warning: These predictions need not come true. * * * Predictions (1) Australia: Their annual chart data is: January 14, 2003Time: 15:55:45Time Zone: 10:00:00 (East of GMT)Place: 144 E 58' 00", 37 S 49' 00" They run Mercury dasa till March 15 and start Saturn dasa then. In rasi chart, Mercury has 7 rekhas in AV. In D-10 also, he is strong with 6 rekhas in his AV, in a sign with 33 rekhas in SAV. Mercury is the 5th lord from AL and well-placed in the 6th from lagna and 4th from AL (with malefic Mars). Mercury shows success. He is well-placed in Le from natal rasi Mercury. OTOH, Saturn is in the 8th house in D-10, in a sign with just 23 rekhas in SAV. Saturn dasa from March 15 will give a disappointment and not the world cup. Viv Richards wrote correctly that the defending champions may be peaking too early. Australia will do quite well until March 15, i.e. in the preliminary matches and in the super six stage. After March 15, they will face a disappointment. An off day will cost them the finals or even the semifinals perhaps. They may not win the cup. (2) South Africa: Their annual chart data is: May 12, 2002Time: 4:17:40Time Zone: 0:00:00 (West of GMT)Place: 28 E 10' 00", 25 S 45' 00" They run Jupiter dasa throughout the tournament. Jupiter with 4 rekhas occupies the weakest sign in D-10 SAV (Sg with 21 rekhas). Though he is well-placed in the 2nd from D-10 with Moon, it only suggests showing good resources/infrastructure (2nd). In the 6th from AL with Moon, he does not promise victory. South Africa will do quite poorly and not succeed in keeping up the promise they showed coming into the tournament at home. They may not win the cup. (3) Sri Lanka: Their annual chart data is: January 27, 2003Time: 3:31:23Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)Place: 79 E 52' 00", 6 N 56' 00" They run Moon dasa till March 7 and Mars dasa after that. Moon is strong in D-10 in own sign with 4 rekhas in his AV, in a sign with 30 rekhas in SAV. He is in a quadrant from lagna and 2nd from AL (good placement - feeds image). He has argala on 3rd and 6th from lagna and aspects 5th lord. Moon dasa will be quite good. Mars, OTOH, is in the 8th house (albeit in an own sign). He has 3 in his AV and the sign has 28 in SAV. Mars dasa is not so favorable. Sri Lanka will do very well until March 7, i.e. in the preliminary rounds. They will run out of steam in the super six stage. They may not win the cup. (4) India: Their annual chart data is: August 7, 2002Time: 5:25:52Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)Place: 77 E 13' 00", 28 N 40' 00" Delhi, India They run Mars dasa till Feb 26 and start Mercury dasa on Feb 26 (just before the day/night match against England). In D-10, both Mars and Mercury are placed in AL, in the 3rd house from lagna, in a sign with 30 points. Mercury is stronger with 4 rekhas in his AV. Mars gives the results of Mercury and gives a mild and wavering performance. Mercury gives the results of yoga karaka Mars and gives an aggressive and confident performance and an aggressive image. India will do poorly and waver until Feb 26. They may prevail over Zimbabwe with difficulty on Feb 19 and have a not-so-great win over Namibia on Feb 23. But, they will have a turn-around from the England match on Feb 26 and will raise their game from then. Starting then, they will play well throughout the rest of the tournament. They even have some chance of winning the cup. (5) Pakistan: Their annual chart data is: August 6, 2002Time: 2:56:05Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)Place: 67 E 03' 00", 24 N 52' 00" They run Venus dasa till March 6 and Sun dasa from then. In D-10, Venus is the 5th lord and occupies lagna with 9th lord Saturn. He aspects GL too. But Venus is poorly placed from natal rasi Mercury. So Venus dasa is mixed, with more favorable results. Sun is the 3rd lord with 6th lord Mars and lagna lord Mercury, giving VRY in the 4th house in AL in D-10. Sun is well-placed from natal rasi Mercury in AV and he aspects GL in Pi in D-10. Overall, Sun dasa promises sporting success. Pakistan will do well throughout the tournament. They may have some disappointments in the initial rounds before March 6, but will raise their game in the super six stage. They are a very strong contender for the cup (strongest in the five teams considered here). They may atleast play in the semifinals and most probably in the finals too. * * * If the birthdata of New Zealand and West Indies is available, I will be glad to take a look at their chances. If you know the birthdata of any players or captains, please pass it on to me. I'll be glad to take a look. I have Sachin Tendulkar's chart and will comment on it later. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha

Guest guest
Hello list members I have tried to analyze the parshana chart for Indian team, which indicates that initially team will not perform up to the mark. But it also shows that destiny is in favor of Indian team and by luck India will reach in final with Asian team. And most probably win the final match. Let the luck favor the Indian team Tarun Chopra naastrology/ Now, , Female, 18/02/2003, 18:27:13, DST/WT 0, Gurgaon, , India, Time Zone 5.50, Lat. 28 N 28, Long. 77 E 2, User Own Ayanamsa-- 12:53:10, vedic astrology, sarat chander <saratj2001> wrote: > Dear Narasimha, > That's an interesting reading and sound too. Guest guest
OM NAMO BHAGAVATE VASUDEVAYA dEAR shri Narasimha Raoji, Pranam, Here is the data for west indies and newzealand New Zealand Date : 17.01.1853 Wellington 174E47; 41S17 time :00:00:00 West Indies 21.09.1792 time 00:00:00 Port of spain I think this data will be sueful to you. I have taken the west indies original city whetre the proclamation was signed. You can make the suitable change in the city. Kindly go to the TP chart of the New Zealand. It is very interesting. Thanks Yours Dewavrat Buit - Narasimha P.V.R. Rao vedic astrology Tuesday, February 18, 2003 12:31 PM [vedic astrology] Predictions: World Cup Cricket 2003 Om Sreem Suragurave Brihaspataye Namah Dear Imran, > Some Favourites in Cricket World Cup 2003.> > 1) Australia.(1-Jan-1901) Natal Lagn=Pisces, Moon=Aries> > 2) South Aferica(10-May-1994) Natal Lagn=Cancer, Moon=Aries.> > 3) Sri Lanka (4-Feb-1948) Naral Lagn=Libra, Moon=Scorpio.> > 4) India (15-Aug-1947) Natal Lagn=Taurus, Moon=Cancer.> > 5) Pakistan (14-Aug-1947) Natal Lagn=Aries, Moon=Gemini. Guest guest
Then the question becomes will Pakistan reach the Super Six stage? They have to win both remaining games. They were brilliant against a revitalized West Indies the other day (don't dismiss Windies either BTW - their late order batsmen Powell and Sarvan are terrific finishers, while Lara, Chanderpaul and Hooper offer stability in the middle order. > > If we cast the annual Tithi Pravesha (TP) chart, a planet well- placed as outlined above can give success in its annual Tithi Ashtottari (TA) dasa. For that success to be related to sports, that planet in dasamsa should be well-placed with respect to the natal rasi chart Mercury (use natal rasi chart's AV - AshtakaVarga). > > I rectified Australia's birthdata by 5 minutes to explain the 1999 world cup victory. Guest guest
Om Sreem Suragurave Brihaspataye Namah Namaste friends, Now that we know (more or less) which teams proceed to the nect "Super Sixes" round of the cricket world cup, it is time to look back and refine the predictions. I said Australia would do well till March 15 and an off day will make them bow out after March 15. So far, they won all their games. Let us wait and see how it goes in future. I said South Africa would do poorly and not keep up the promise. They were rated number two, but bowed out in the first stage itself. It is easy to blame the rain that poured at the end of the Sri Lanka match, but it was their own insipid performances against West Indies and New Zealand, not to mention today's match against Sri Lanka, that did them in. Even if it hadn't rained, they could've still lost or tied. Overall, the hosts thoroughly disappointed fans in all their big games and did well only in games against minnows. Kenya surprised everyone by qualifying for the next round. I don't have their chart and don't even want to see it. They will anyway not win (common sense, no astrology). India won against Zimbabwe and Namibia too, but it did not give them (and fans) complete confidence. I predicted a turn-around in confidence level from Feb 26 and predicted that India would raise their game from then. In the matches against England and Pakistan, India played with tremendous confidence and had convincing victories. I did fine with India. The only country with which I failed is Pakistan. I probably misjudged the Venus dasa (till March 6). I said it was mixed with more favorable results. However, Venus is with Saturn and gets his malefic nature. I think I misjudged - I ignored the transfer of nature. Venus gave Saturn's results and that was why Pakistan played without any confidence and were jinxed. In the highly unlikely (and miraculous) event of a heavy drubbing of Zimbabwe at the hands of Pakistan tomorrow resulting in Pakistan's passage into the next round, however, Pakistan will play much better from the next round and will be a strong contender. It is bad for them till March 6, but good from then. Though I did not originally have the New Zealand chart, I have their birthdata now. I looked at their chart. Let me add them to the analysis. (6) New Zealand: Their annual chart data is February 9, 2003Time: 5:30:49Time Zone: 11:39:08 (East of GMT)Place: 174 E 47' 00", 41 S 18' 00" Wellington, New Zealand They are running Jupiter's annual TA dasa. In dasamsa, there is Gaja-Kesari yoga with Moon and Jupiter in AL. Lagna is Ge and lord Mercury is exalted in AL with Moon and Jupiter. Jupiter gives Mercury's results and his dasa is excellent. It runs till April 17 and Jupiter-Mercury antardasa runs on the day of the finals. Moreover, Jupiter is favorably placed from natal rasi Mercury. The first two antardasas of the current Jupiter dasa were unfavorable. Rahu in 8th from AL made NZ make poor foreign policy decisions that affected their performance (they did not travel to Kenya and forfeited 4 points). Venus in the 7th from AL gave a lot of suspense. But I think Stephen Fleming's heavily underrated side will now be unstoppable. Only India can stop them. Out of the other charts I have looked at (Sri Lanka, India and Australia), only India has comparable chance of lifting the cup. I think this world cup's winner will be either India or New Zealand. Unfortunately, antardasa at the time of finals is very good, but the antardasa at the time of semifinals (Mars antardasa during March 17-21) is unfavorable to New Zealand. Probably India has a slight edge over NZ, astrologically speaking. In the case of India, Mercury-Venus antardasa runs on the day of final. Mercury and Venus are the lords of 9th and 1st from AL, with a mutual exchange of positions. Both have a role to play on the 3rd house of sports. In NZ's case, Jupiter and Mercury don't have a role. I think India and New Zealand are the contenders. If India plays the first semifinals on March 18 (Mercury-Rahu antardasa), they may be disappointed. But, if their semifinal is the second one (March 20), they will breeze into finals and win the cup. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha - Narasimha P.V.R. Rao vedic astrology Tuesday, February 18, 2003 2:01 AM Predictions: World Cup Cricket 2003 Predictions (1) Australia: Their annual chart data is: January 14, 2003Time: 15:55:45Time Zone: 10:00:00 (East of GMT)Place: 144 E 58' 00", 37 S 49' 00" They run Mercury dasa till March 15 and start Saturn dasa then. > > May Jupiter's light shine on us, > Narasimha > - > Narasimha P.V.R.
