Just two points to indicate the things you overlooked:

1) Venus is the atmakaraka and is the strongest planet in the chart, along

with a powerful Jupiter in the lagna makes 2 benefic planets in kendra and

thus gives kakshya vrddhi. Thus the longevity will be increased.

2) another point is that according to Jaimini and Sanjay's teaching, when

atmakaraka is in the 7th house, it reverses the ayus indication. Thus a

short life may become a long life, atmakaraka being Venus in this case

could mean long life because his wife might not live long.
