Guest guest
Dear all, Does any treatise mention about the effects of Jupiter-Venus conjunction? What are the effects of Jupiter-Venus conjunction in Gemini for Leo Ascendant? thanks and regards, K.Srinivasan
Guest guest
Dear Shrinivasan, The effects of Ven for a Gem asc guy would depend on who he's associated with, being 12th lord. An association with Merc, for example, would be pretty favorable. Since Jup is a badhaka for the asc, I don't think a Ven-Jup conjunction would do much good for the body. Guest guest
My dear Srinivasan, Many old treatises mention the effects of conjuction of two planets in angles and few mention the effects of the conjuction of two planets in all the twelve houses.I have here before me the late R.Santhanam's translation of Kalyan Verma's Saravali,Vol.2,wherein the effects of conjuction of two planets in angles are given. Results of conjuctions of two planets in all the 12 houses are given in the series of books by Kathway,a very famous astrologer(late, died in 1949)from Maharashtra. The book before me ,i.e.Saravali mentions the effects of the Jupiter, venus conjuction as under. In the first house the native though a Brahmin by birth will become a king or equal to one on account of his perceptor's teaching;in the 4th,the native will win all his enemies,be endowed with relatives, friends, conveyances, wealth and will honour the Almighty and brahmins;in the 7th,the native will acquire a virtuous female,be endowed with precious stones and riches, will acquire happiness, fame and female issue and will procure excellent conveyances and enjoy pleasures;in the 10th,the native will widely command,be widely honoured and endowed, wide riches,be a king, will have many servants and be virtuous. The book does not specify any ascendant while making these predictions.Kathway's books have given predictions for each ascendant also.I will try to send them to you may be after a month, since those books are lying at my ancestral home.Bye RKvedic astrology, "ka_shrinivaasan <ka_shrinivaasan>" <ka_shrinivaasan> wrote: > Dear all, > > Does any treatise mention about the effects of Jupiter-Venus conjunction? > What are the effects of Jupiter-Venus conjunction in Gemini for Leo > Ascendant? > > > thanks and regards, > K.Srinivasan
Guest guest
Dear Shrinivasan, Now Jupiter is Karaka for knowledge, good character, religiousness, government job, authoritative post etc.Shukra is the Karaka for beauty, physical pleaures, wife etc.So the combination of Jupiter and Venus in 11th indicates the person is God fearing, will have good Government job, knowledge of Shastras, will have a beautiful wife, good earnings, will have handsome appearance, enjoy physical pleasures etc. I think this helps, With best regards, Ramadas Rao. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Dear Srinivasan, 11th is also the house of learning of Occult being the 4th from the 8th and has argala on the 8th. Presence of Jup and Venus in the 11th is good for occult learning and knowledge. This is infact very potent yoga, both the gurus are giving the knowledge. Guest guest
Dear K.Srinivasan, Jupiter-Venus conjunction forms DwiGuru Yoga (Jupiter is Devaguru, Venus Guru of Asuras) for Leo ascendant in the 11th house is indicative of earnings from occult sciences like astrology, palmistry and other sciences to foretell of future. This conjunctions association with the Sun (more so for opposion of the Sun, placed in the 5th house), the ascendant will help better Association of ascendant lord with 5th house and Jupiter always help creating interest in futuristic sciences. For Leo, Jupiter is 5th and 8th house (Guhya, hidden, deep) lord and his assciation with 10th (Karma, profession) house and 3rd house (activity, hobby, creativity, writing )lord in the house of income in the sign of books, writing (Gemini) is the key. But don't forget to see other Div. charts like D9, D20, D24. You will come across many astrologers with Leo ascendant. Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagawate Vaasudevaaya Respected Sarajitji, Undoubtedly Jup-Ven Combination shall bless the native with knowledge and intelligence. But would not be there ego clash leading native to nowhere as both Gurus propitiate different ideologies? In my opinion one ideology must override other. Also, if this combination is in pisces lagna in 11H, then jup gets deb and conjuncts 3H/8H lord Ven. Now if Jup is deb though AmK and exalted in Navamansh (neechabhanga is there), does this override Ven? Or Ven, the lord of 2 dusthanas in 11H could create some magic with deb lagnesh? Or both combinedly bless the native? Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Dear Nisha, Even Jup and Venus process different ideologies, there will not be clash, rather they both will give their part of knowledge one being practical and another being spiritual. This is better known as dwiguru yoga as mentioned by Shiv Chadha and is very fruitful. This is interesting to note that Venus gets is expression of highest qualities in the presence of Jupiter and that is why Venus gets exalted in Jupiter's house. Jupiter being the Devaguru is very generous. Both shall combinedly bless the native. The debilitation of Jup might show a guru who is very humble but highly intelligent (Navamsa exaltation) shall guide the native in the matters of occult. Jup being Amk, shows that the gurus will come in the life of the native as advisors. Guest guest
Dear Learned people: I too have a Jupiter-Venus conjunction in the 9th house in Cancer. Jupiter is the lord of 2nd and 5th and Venus is lord of 12th and 7th. I'm a Scorpio ascendant. What would be the outcome of such a conjunction? Thank you all.
