Guest guest
Dear Iyer: I was going through Your lecture titled "divisional charts" (Jan 25). i would like some clarifications regarding table four "ready recokener for divisional charts". if you have time please reply at your convenience. regarding Matter Learning and edcuation one will use D-24 and you had mentioned that one may use "2h for masters and 7h for PHD. you also wrote progress 6h every time." How did you arrive at 7h for PHD and does one has to analyse 7th lord and planets in the seventh hosue. Secondly, do you recommend we analyse 6th house for predicting results on the basis natal 6th house or 6th house in terms of transit chart. i hope you can elucidate in due course. with regards' rangrajan
Guest guest
hamsa om soham Dear Rangarajan, The 6th house is one of the upachaya houses of growth and progess, and signifies effort. Going from 1st standard to bachelors to masters to PhD in the same field, we are delving deeper in the same subject, and our knowledge of that subject is growing and becoming more focused. We see the initial learning from the 4th house, bachelors from the 9th (6th from 4th), masters from 2nd (6th from 9th) and PhD from the 7th (6th from 2nd). Now it possible for someone with a bachelors/masters/PhD in physics to get a second bachelors in a completely unrelated field like music. I am not convinced about what we should do here. I hope others will clarify. ajit - "rangarajan" <b.rangarajan <vedic astrology> Monday, February 10, 2003 9:14 PM [vedic astrology] Achyuta workshop-Narayan Iyer > Dear Iyer: > I was going through Your lecture titled "divisional charts" (Jan 25). i > would like some clarifications regarding table four "ready recokener for > divisional charts". if you have time please reply at your convenience. > regarding Matter Learning and edcuation one will use D-24 and you had > mentioned that one may use "2h for masters and 7h for PHD. you also wrote > progress 6h every time." > How did you arrive at 7h for PHD and does one has to analyse 7th lord and > planets in the seventh hosue. Guest guest
Dear ajit: thanks for your reply. it looks like 6th house seems to be pivotal from the original house of education (4th house) that is to say if we take 4th house to be starting point for basic education, then 6th house from 4th house become important for next stage and so on. progressively one can move from one house to another. However, what happens if the process is stretched over a period of many dasa/periods. secondly,i dont know whether one's bachelors and masters degree is linked to phd degree. one could be doing diffrent subjects but in one broad field say "Arts". for instance, for bachelor degree one could study economics and masters in different subject and so on. does the dasa period influence one's selection of areas of study. thanks any way rangarajan At 10:06 PM 2/10/03 -0700, you wrote: >hamsa om soham > >Dear Rangarajan, > >The 6th house is one of the upachaya houses of growth and progess, and >signifies effort. Guest guest
Om krishna Guru: Similar to ajit's question ? What whould be the case if the native does a second masters degree in related field (specilization) ? Narayan : Also in the Case study #6 :Marriage Marriage occuring in Venus-Venus dasa. The D9 lagna has venus and it is the lord of 7th in D9 not lagna as mentioned in the file dcharts.pdf. (May be this may not have any change in the explanation on the event) Ishwar
