Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya, Dear Sarajit and Dennis, One should look ashakavargas of all grahas to fix the directions of rooms in the house. For example, kitchen should be placed according to mars ashtakavarga. You should see trines having highest dots after reduction rules. Bedrooms should be seen from ashtakavarga of Shukra, Front door from Ashtakavarga of Lagna, 7th house is the Dwara or Door. Bathroom is seen from Ashtakavarga of Chandra, while Askhtakavarga of Shani is used to determine toilet, storage etc. In this manner see all grahas and ascertain their karakatwas to different placmenet. Surya rules light, in this case windows, while chandra rules artificial light such as lamps etc. Sarajit- I am collecting the data of professional cooks, so that we may continue our conversation about cooking /food. Guest guest
Dear Zoran, But as per Vaastu ,it tells something else. EEASHANYAM DEVATAGEHAM POORVASYA SNANA MNDIRAM, AGNEYAM PAKASADANAM BHANDAGARAMUTTARE, AAGNEYAPOORVAYORMADHYE AAJYAGEHAM PRASASTATE, YAMYA NAIRUTYAYORMADHYE PUREESHA TYAGAMANDIRAM, NAIRUTYAMBUPAYORMADHYE VIDYABHYASASYA MANDIRAM, PASCHIMANILAYORMADHYE RODANARDHAM GRIHAMSMRUTAM meaning North East is the place for Pooja,East is the place for bath room,South East is the place for kitchen,Oils such as ghee etc.,should be in between east and South East,Toilet should be in between South and South West and study room should be in between West and South West etc. This in only a small tip from Vaastu and it is a very big subject to be studied. I hope this helps, With best regards, Ramadas Rao. Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya, Dear Ramadas Rao, I agree that these are general rules for vastu. It would be the same as we say that for example everyone should weal coral to improve energy. Mars would have different role in each chart. So each individual would have some specific energy and a house sutiable for him/her. So we should stick for the general rules, yet Jyotish will give more specific rules. You know that Jyotish and Vastu are interrelated. I have talked this issue about Vasta with Sanjay before, and he too, opines that Jyotish should be followed first, since it gives more individual advice. For example, according to vastu, south -east is the best way for kitchen. Yet, in Jyotisha this direction is ruled by Venus. We should seek the position of Mangal and not Venus for kitchen, and that is definitely Sanjay's opinion too. In jyotisha texts, kithcen is indeed assigned to Mangal. So general rules can be modified according to individual charts. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Dear Dennis, The rule is simple. Take planet governing the room under consideration. Check the bhinna AV of that planet and find the sign having the highest bindu. Construct that room in the direction, showed by the sign having the higest bindu. I shall request Zoran to throw more light in this area. He has been doing his researches in this area for pretty long. Warm RegardsSarajit - Denis 1008 vedic astrology Wednesday, February 05, 2003 9:18 PM Re: Re: [vedic astrology] Re: good cook - house Dear Sarajit and members, Are there some other rules for different rooms in the house, as it was given for kitchen below ? Thank you, Denis1008 - Sarajit Poddar vedic astrology Thursday, January 30, 2003 9:52 AM Re: [vedic astrology] Re: good cook Jaya Jagannath,Namaste Zoran,I hope, this mail was addressed to me. I don't disagree with you that Cooking doesnot require agni tattva and for the same reason Kitchen is placed in the direction shown by the sign having highest astakavarga bindu in Mars's Asktakavarga.Archives: vedic astrologyGroup info: vedic astrology/info.htmlTo UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology-....... Guest guest
Dear Zoran, As you said in Astrology south-east is for Venus. But now if we take Mars Ashtaka varga after Shodhana and we arrive at some sign which has more rekhas and if that sign is not south east then can we have our kitchen constructed in that direction ?Will it be alright ? With best regards, Ramadas Rao. Zoran Radosavljevic <ahimsa (AT) NSpoint (DOT) net> wrote: Om Namo Narayanaya,Dear Ramadas Rao,I agree that these are general rules for vastu.
