Guest guest Posted January 30, 2003 Report Share Posted January 30, 2003 I think cooking for catering purpose(mass cooking) requires a lot of physical strength, stamina & ability to face high temperature all the time(fire). I didn’t opt for kitchen specialization, since I was not so comfortable with the giant cooking equipments & non-veg cookery in the hotel. In general, cooking is perceived to be feminine field, in hotels it is not so…on the contrary , all the bullies of my batch had opted for kitchen. It is not everyone’s cup of tea to work on tandoor. So in this case mars ,(& agni tatwa ) has to be strong in the chart People who cook at home may not have “prominent” mars connection For halwai , it should b jupitor, as in sh. Ramdas ji’s case of making sweets. .. But sarajit, as u rightly pointed out , combinations u conclude finally for cooking should not b present in a layman’s chart who doesn’t know c of cooking. one thing more…. in hotels, the person who cooks …generally doesn’t serve . At home, he/she is usually the same. There moon/or venus may not play such important role. In one’s (which u analysed 20feb 1970 pune 5:15 am) case, surprising but mars has least ashtakvarga points in sarvashtaka. (39 only). It has 4 points in pisces. Mars is in 3rd house, in my case too mars aspects 3rd house, sarajit…did u consider this point? One thing more, if u see moon rasi chart of this lady, 2nd house is a fiery sign leo having ketu aspected by its lord sun & venus. 3rd has virgo aspected by mars. 4th has jupitor aspected by mars once again. I think it is better seen from moon , what do u say? Plz correct me if I m wrong. Another thing , in all watery sign ascendants , 2nd house will b governed by fiery signs. Watery signs r more sensitive & caring……. what more we need to see for an attitude to prepare & serve ? 2nd being fiery fulfills our criterion.
