Transits of retrograde planets - more queries

Respect to the learned members.

Thanks to Mr. Chandrashekar, and everyone for the reply.

Mr. Prabhakaran, nice of you to reply, frankly I don’t remember where I read that note. Pls excuse.

I am quite sure all the classics as you mentioned would make an interesting

reading, I don’t mind taking up on your advice although I really wonder if I

can do that right now at such an early stage in this science.

Another query, I hope I am not breaking any code of asking too many questions,

seems my mind is working overtime (::

1. If we see transit results from the Janma Rasi - Moon which denotes the mind,

then shouldn’t we also simultaneously see transits from Lagna {self – since

sometimes mind can react differently to an event, than the body} and along with

this are to look at transits from each natal planet. e.g. Sat from natal Saturn

etc.

2. I am still confused, if a retrograde planet gives a different result in a

house during chart analysis, then how come the same retrograde planet doesnt

give a different result in transit. and does the rules change for exalted/deb

retrograde planets

Pls throw some light.

I read somewhere that >if planets are retrograde then we should see it from the

previous house(12th from it) also and consider additional aspects.Please qoute

from where you read. So it will help other members to learn more.Let me give my

suggestion. Why don't you read Brihat Parashara hora Shastra, Jataka Parijata,

Phaladeepika etc.They give various ways to measure Retrogression and given

names like 'Cheshta'(desire) bala (strength) etc.It will make an interesting

Dear Sushmita,

You are not far off the mark, I personally prefer to make predictions based on

position of transit planets with respect to Natal Ascendant and relative

position from the same planet in Natal Horoscope.

About the second point too I have already said that treating retro planet in

previous house is not correct.
