Guest guest
respected sirs/mams it is really confusing now-a-days to keep focussed on our traditional knowledge...specially when a clash comes between the vedic teachings of Gurus like Varamihir, Parashar and the teachings of our immediate neighbour China...the Feng Sui... Well what will a confused individual do for good luck...wear gems, install Shree Yantra or keep Laughing Buddha in the NE corner of his room... what is more important...exalted Jupiter, retrograte mars, lagna , moon sign or our Animal sign and kua number... my earnest request on behalf of the innumerable confused people is to clarify the predominance of Indian Ancient Scriptures or Chinese Culture...which is more prevailing in Indian setting... thank you souvik dutta Mail Plus - Powerful. Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATHA! Dear Souvik, Namaste. Years back I was studying Pranic Healing by Master Choa Kok Sui and I met a Guru who was born in Cananda in a Japanese family. His name is Bhanu Swami. He gave me Reiki symbols, and taught me a lot about the human energy field. On the basis of his teaching I found the link between Vedic chakra-theory, Western Aura-theory and Chinese Meridian-theory. Since then my studies in Ayurveda made it clear to me that there are substantial links between the 5 Tattwas and 5 Chinese elements and the energy system based on them. Maybe the terminology is different at places, but if you do a thorough study under an enlightened Guru, you will find the links. Hence astrology is the mother of all symbolic systems, you might as well find substantial links between chinese Purple Star system and Jyotish. I'm sure of that. The Chinese may be a little bit different approach, but the link is there. This is the same as with Buddhis teachings, which are essentially based on terms used in Upanishads like karma, nirvaana etc. Only a bit cultural difference and another angle of approach. As per my understanding the Tibetan and Chniese culture stemmed from the Vedic, thousands and thousands of years back, and this difference in flavors existed even at those times. As per my informations, these cultures had a close influence of Naagaloka (planet of snakes) which is a subterranean planet and therefore their healing and divination methods look to be a bit different. Yo may notice that the cult of dragons is quite prominent in both cultures. So it is natural that their reading will be much more based on Nakshatras, than Parashara's approach. See he speaks almost nothing on Nakshatras. For understanding the Nakshatra's interrelation with the dragon symbolism, you should study the description of the Shishumara cakra in the 5th Skandha of Srimad-Bhagavatam. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Souvik Many many years back such a clash had come in the study of Devi Tara as well, then the higher knowledge of Maharshi Vasistha cleared the air. The situation will always be there and it will take time to clear. In another mail you write that you have a sixth sence....remember, all these senses will only dwell on their sense objects and will ultimately cause confusion. The one that clears the confusion is the Guru. Go to Dakshineswara and spend some time there. At the feet of Guru Pandita Kasinatha, I remain, Sanjay Rath Mail: 71 Vasant Apartments, Mayur Vihar Phase-1, New Delhi 110091, India Tel: +91-11-2713201; SJC Web pages: http://.org; Personal Web: http://srath.com - "souvik dutta" <explore_vulcan <vedic astrology> Tuesday, January 21, 2003 2:36 PM [vedic astrology] mail to Mr. Poddar...a request from a confused individual > respected sirs/mams > it is really confusing now-a-days to keep focussed on > our traditional knowledge...specially when a clash > comes between the vedic teachings of Gurus like > Varamihir, Parashar and the teachings of our immediate > neighbour China...the Feng Sui... > Well what will a confused individual do for good > luck...wear gems, install Shree Yantra or keep > Laughing Buddha in the NE corner of his room... > what is more important...exalted Jupiter, retrograte > mars, lagna , moon sign or our Animal sign and kua > number... > my earnest request on behalf of the innumerable > confused people is to clarify the predominance of > Indian Ancient Scriptures or Chinese Culture...which > is more prevailing in Indian setting... > thank you > souvik dutta > > > > > Mail Plus - Powerful.
