Guest guest
The Dasa Bhukti tables are based on 30 day months, which equates to 360 day years, yet the major dasa periods are perfectly aligned with the 365.25 day solar cycle. Every personal Dasa Bhukti chart I have seen calculates the major Dasa cycles beginning on the same month and day plus the number of years. What is happening to all of those 5 days/year? After a 10 year Moon Dasa, the correct calendar date for the next Mars Dasa should start ~52 days sooner by month and day. Look at a table of Bhukti time periods and add it up by days. You will find that 1 year = 360 days which is clearly not correct if no adjustments are made. I find Hindu Astrology to be a very accurate predictive system, but this does not make sense to me. Any help would be appreciated
Guest guest
The method usually followed is to calculate Bhukti Tables in fractions of a YEAR. This fraction is first Coverted to Months, by multiplying by 12. The days are calculated by multiplying the fraction of the Month by 30. Thus we a bhukti period is given in Years,Months, Days. When we add to this the Next Bhukti period, we add days first: Excess over 30 is added to Months: Then add months: Excess over 12 carry forward to Year: When this addittion is carried to ENGLISH datees, we may get a Date as JUNE 31ST or 30 th Feb: In such case we adjust these to July 1st, March 2nd etc. I have calculted the Dasa Bhukties also by using 1 year = 365.25 calender Days. Here the Major Dasa Periods also have to be in Calender Days. For example, MOON dasa will not be 10 years, but 3652.5 calender days. When worked on this basis one gets the correct Caladenr Dates However, the difference between the 2 methods is not more than 2 days. Who amongst us can predict an event as close as 2 days ? --- "ahall9993 <ahall9993" <ahall9993 wrote: Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus.
