When I sent my reply, I somehow thought you were referring to the annual Full Moon chart. You are correct in considering the Annual New Moon chart instead. Sanjay clarified at Ukiah that Full Moon charts are for spiritual purposes and New Moon charts are for material purposes. Though I hope that your prediction goes wrong and that there is no war, I wish you good luck with your prediction. In fact, it has an excellent chance of coming true based on Bush'a chart also. I don't think solar and lunar new year charts cast at nation capitals are good enough for predicting events upto dates. Atleast my success with them was limited. I had far more success when I used the natal charts of nations. Natal charts of nations and leaders are more important than the solar/lunar new year charts. We have accurate data for the natal charts of India and Pakistan, but the charts of USA and Iraq are controversial. So we have to rely on the charts of the leaders. Though we don't have Mr. Hussein's chart, we do have the chart of Mr. Bush. I am using a chart I rectified in the past. So I want to say something only using it. * * * I made the annual Tithi Pravesha chart of 2002-03. The chart is enclosed as bush2002.pdf file in PDF format. In the chart, the 3rd from AL is empty and the 6th from AL is occupied by a strong Ketu showing defeat of enemies. From A6, 3rd has Sun, Mars and Jupiter and the 6th has Moon (Moon is a natural benefic in Sukla paksha). The enemies will be overall bold (Sun & Mars) despite some wise concessions (Jupiter) and they'll finally lose. The annual Tithi Ashtottari dasa calculations are given in that pdf file. You'll see that Mars dasa ran from Nov 26 to Dec 24. Mars is in AL and gives an image of a warmonger. The talk of war really intensified in this period. Mars as the 2nd lord would give hard speech too. Mercury dasa is running from Dec 24 to Feb 21. Is this a good period to go to war? Definitely not. Mercury is badhaka. He is AL lord in the 12th from AL. He shows obstacles and some loss of face. There'll be some opposition to his plans then. You don't go to war in the dasa of a benefic in the 12th from AL. Moreover, Mercury is in the 2nd house from A6 and gives support to enemies. Bush should wait till Feb 21. Next dasa of Saturn (Feb 21- Mar 28) shows success and raja yoga. Saturn occupies the 2nd from A6 (enemies hit hard, deprived of food and other resources and struggling to survive) and the 12th from AL (Saturn in the 12th from AL is excellent as per Parasara). However, Rudramsa is very important for wars and destructions. Its lord Saturn is in Sg (i.e. 6th house from Cn). So Sg is Rudra dwara for enemy. From Sg, the 6th house is Ta. So Ta is the Rudra Bahya for enemy! It is afflicted by Ketu, who is in the 6th from AL and 8th from A6 in rasi chart!! He shows bold war by Bush and rout of enemies. Being in Rudra bahya (Ta), he will give this result in the Rudramsa Mandooka dasa of Taurus (Feb 28-Mar 31). Overall, based on Bush's chart, it looks like the war will start after Feb 21 and the enemy will be routed after Feb 28. For cross-reference, you can see the 2001-02 chart when Taliban was defeated .. In that Rudramsa chart, 8th house, Rudra dwara and Rudra bahya for enemy all fall in Pisces with Jupiter there. Pisces Mandooka dasa ran from the middle of November to Christmas (2001). During that time, enemy was defeated. Jupiter brought a lot of fire, but Jupiter in own sign made the enemy lose peacefully. In other words, Taliban were routed, but they had just withdrawn and gone into hiding. That's how Meena Guru in Rudra dwara & bahya brings defeat! In the case of Iraq, debilitated Ketu is the planet in Rudra bahya (Ta). The defeat of the enemy will be quite pronounced and sudden. The destruction will be enormous. Hopefully, all this will not happen. Bottomline: I cannot give a firm date like you did. But the attack can come anytime after Feb 21 and the fall of the enemy will come anytime after Feb 28 (before Mar 31). * * * However, the next Mandooka dasa of Cancer (March 31-April 28) is bad for USA. It contains the Rudra dwara of Bush and Rahu & Ketu aspect it. Bush and USA should be vigilant against revenge attacks in April 2003. * * * The point you raised w.r.t. India and Pakistan's lunar new year charts being the same upto D-20 is a good point. This shows the limitation of the lunar new year charts. If you have the natal chart of a nation or the leader of its executive wing of government, use those charts for better results.
