Dear Dr Satya Prakash Chowdhary,

Nice article. However,(for the benefit of the learners), I wonder

why there is no mentioning of the nakshatra and placement of the

nakshatra lord of the rasi's 10th lord as well as the dispositor of

the 10th lord, which play such an important role in judging the 10th

house in general and it's (10th lord's) dasa period in particular.

Kind regards

Jay Weiss

There are some more factors that should be covered in the full

fledged analysis of career matters in a chart including what you

mention. But I deliberately refrained from touching upon those

because the topic for presentation was the DASAMSA (remember that the

workshop was on Vargas and my topic the Dasamsa, NOT CAREER. So I

chose to cover the RISE and FALL in career & DASAMSA. The rasi chart

as relevant to the topic, had to be covered obviously.

As for the nakshatra and nakshatra lord, I use them among other

factors to judge the NATURE of career, to assess the field of

svadharma. But not for judging the RISE AND FALL in career.

So many other factors that are useful in career analysis had been

left out since the topic decided upon was different. Moreover in the

allotted period of time for presentation, it is not possible to do

justice if one strays beyond what I have covered. I told the

participants that there is a second half to the topic. In fact I have

already started writing the second part now and hope to make it a

relatively complete write up with three parts and many examples.

Hope that clarifies.

Regards,

Satya

Thank you indeed - it's all clear.

However here is something interesting that I noticed in several charts:

Whenever the nakshatra lord of the 10th lord is in the 8th/12th BOTH in rasi

and Dasamsa AND the rasi's 10th lord is badly place EITHER in both OR even

in one of them (of rasi/Dasamsa), the individual have a very 'rocking'

career, including a 'fall from position' (see * below) during the antardasa

of the 10th lord or it's nakshatra dispositor.

As you say, there are many other factors (*like the 5th, which is the 8th

from the 10th) and I guess one could write an entire book just covering the

Dasamsa ...

Kind regards

Jay Weiss
