Hi All,

 

It has been a year and 2 months since I lost my job - my

field is electrical engineering. I had a great career

till everything came to a full stop since last year Oct.

 

I am requesting if anyone can shed light on chances of

when I will gain employment again and if my career

will ever get back on track. I came very close to

landing a job a few times, only to find out that the

position was frozen or something else. It has been a

very difficult year of obsessing about finding

employment, without any luck.

Hi Neha,

 

You were born in daytime with lagna in Sun's hora. So Shattrimsa sama dasa

is applicable and it shows sustenance and wealth very well. Here are the

In your dasamsa, Jupiter is lagna and 10th lord in 3rd with exalted Moon.

His dasa (1994-2001) is great for career. But Mercury is badhaka placed in

8th house. His dasa is not all that good and it started in mid-2001. Read or

listen to Vishnu Sahasra Nama Stotram on Wednesdays to pacify Mercury.

 

In particular, Saturn antardasa in Mercury dasa during Jan-Nov 2002 was bad,

as Saturn is in 12th from Mercury in dasamsa. But Venus antardasa (Nov

2002-Nov 2003) will be better. In particular, next spring is good in career

based on annual Tithi Pravesha.

 

In addition to what I said, you may want to try the following mantras (108

times each):

 

(1) Om Namassivaaya Om Somanaathaaya Namah

 

BTW, visiting the Somnath temple is good for your career. As the 5th lord in

your dasamsa is Moon, Somanath is the form of Jyotirlinga that will give you

success.

 

This 5-worded, 14-lettered mantra will take your 5th house (abilities -

containing lagna and 2nd lord Saturn) as the source and divert the fruits to

the 14th, i.e. 2nd, house (money/sustenance).

 

(2) Om Sreemadvaayudevaaya Namah

 

This 3-worded 10-lettered mantra will take your initiative and courage (3rd)

as the source and divert the fruits to your karma (10th). Vaayu (wind god)

rules Swati occupied by your 10th lord and yogakaraka Venus. Praying to Vayu

will give success and good career.

 

Try these two mantras sincerely every morning for 40 days.

 

Sit in lotus/half-lotus pose with the palms resting on the thighs/knees. The

open palm should be facing upwards. The tip of the thumb should be touching

the tips of the middle finger and the ring finger, with the three fingers

making a circle.

 

For the best results and for no karmic debt, you need to offer me a dakshina

for these mantras. My preferred method is this: Go to a local temple and

make a small donation to the temple in my name (P.V.R. Narasimha Rao). That

will make me happy and keep you out of karmic debt. Please donate whatever

you can comfortably afford.

Dear Narasimhaji,

 

I thank you tremendously for your time and the

mantras. I will do the required for the mantras you

have given.

 

I had a few questions since I am an amatuer and

learning Jyotish.

 

1) I am not familiar with how you took out the Dashas.

According to Astroexpert.com and other sites, I am

currently running Ketu Mahadasha with Chandra

AntarDasha. The next antar dasha is Mangal from March

2003.

 

2) Also in Dashamasa that I drew from Astrogyan.com,

10th lord is Shani, and Guru Chandra are in 2nd house.

Please let me know what I did wrong.

That is Vimsottari dasa, which is aplicable to all. But maharshis taught

hundreds of dasa systems. Each has its own purpose.

 

Conditional nakshatra dasas taught by Parasara apply to some people and do

not apply to others. When they are applicable, they will show certain

aspects life and they show them better than Vimsottari dasa.

 

In your chart, a conditional nakshatra dasa called Shattrimsa sama dasa is

applicable and it shows sustenance and finances. It will give clearer

indications related to sustenance, even though Vimsottari dasa will overall

do a good job regarding your state of mind etc. For career matters,

shattrimsa sama dasa will give finer results.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I moved your birthtime back by 1 minute

I hope I am not wasting your time with 2 more

questions:

 

1) Very interesting about moving my birth time back by

1 minute to accomodate Oct 11 2001 date of my lay off.

 

Was this to accomodate something you saw according to

Vimsottari Dasha (Ketu-Venus) or something else?

 

2) Is there a software or website which I can refer to

which will take out the Dasha System according to

conditional nakshatra system? This is the method by

which you had deduced my running Budh Mahadasha?

Please correct me if I am wrong.
