Guest guest
Here are some of my humble thoughts: Harsha yoga : if the 6th lord occupies the 6th house, then this yoga is present and it gives joy, strength and invincible nature. but in real life I have seen a person with this yoga(Libra Lagna) who had Jupiter in 6th house and he ran a mixed Jupiter dasa, which was full of financial gains, huge financial losses and normal life (more or less). Its hardly qualifies as VRY although treated as VRY as given by Shri B.V.Raman and Shri PVR Rao(with all due regards), since most of the money earned by that person was in previous Rahu Dasa and in jupiter dasa, he had just normal job victories plus huge financial expenditures and defeats everywhere, infact he lost his status in real terms and is still struggling now after 14 years of Jupiter dasa. VRY means great financial success after great struggles. Vimala Yoga: if12th Lord occupies 12th house, then one is noble, happy and independent. I personally have this yoga but infact during my Saturn Dasa(Aquarius Lagna), I have actually gone from great success to great present struggle. So may be VRY is working now? I do not think so..since I only expect to return to normal circumstances only and not expecting any magical/great riches etc., Sarla Yoga: If 8th Lord occupies 8th house, then one is long lived, fearless and prosperous. So is it a VRY? when 6th lord in 6th and 12th lord in 12th can give mix results, then obviously this is also not a VRY by similar logic. Infact whoever I know is struggling desperately during the anatrdasas and mahdasas of 8th Lords. I have yet to see someone reaching great material success with this combination. Moreover there are several other yogas in effect at the very same time and we need mahadasa/antardasa effects to prove a clear cut case with such a yoga. Also 8th lord in 8th can also mean great ancestral properties, but then its hardly a VRY in that case. Infact VRY by definition demands very clear struggles and great everlasting material success of extreme nature. Yes you can say that the above yogas are similar to VRY during certain durations of time. That's all I know. Also I think VRY means the success achieved by King who was in exile and had to struggle in forests for several years , to regain his kingdom from enemies and not like 6th lord in 6th, when enemy(like financial expenses and other career related hurdles) becomes victorious alternately aand so on and so forth..all the best.
