Moon in the lagna in Aquarius shows a devotee asking the prashna. 4th house shows the place where it was lost. Its lord, Venus is in 9th house with Mars, who aspect the 4th along with Sun and Ketu. The japa will be lost in the temple, probably when you were attending a fire sacrifice. 7th house shows the thief. It's powerful and its lord Sun is with Ketu in 10th house, which is a powerful position for Sun, so I would say there is not much hope for finding it back. Praying to Guru might help.
