Guest guest
|| NamahShivaaya || Dear Prashant, Yes this book (Vimsottari & Udu Dasa) is amazing and Pt Sanjay Rath has been kind enough to share secrets of Jyotish, which has been hitherto closeted in the different Parampara lineages of India. Kshema Tara is the 4th star and Utpanna is the 5th from Janma Nakshatra. Calculation is very simple. You just calculate the ratio of the arc traversed by Moon(in a nakshatra) to the total duration of Nakshatra (13d 20m or 800minutes). Then find the star where the Kshema/Utpanna falls, consider its lord and take the duration from it. Then multiply them. Example: Moon in 8d 26m Krittika nakshatra in Taurus. So Moon has traversed 8d 26m + 3d 20m(as krittika commences from 26d 40m in Aries) = 11d 46m. Calculate the ratio, like so: 11d 46m/13d 20m. We get 0.8825. Now, kshema nakshatra is 4th from Krittika, which falls in Aardra, ruled by Rahu, whose duration is 18yrs. So the balance of Dasa will be (.8825 * 18) = 15y 10m 19d(approx.). Similarly, Utpanna Nakshatra falls in Punarvasu, and balance of Dasa wd be (0.8825 * 16) = 14y 01m 13d. Hope this Helps.
